We are a church that loves adoption for many reasons--the greatest of which is that our God loves adoption, and every genuine child of God has been adopted. This week we look at the greatness of our adoption by God and how we can reflect His love in the here and now.

Do you know the answer to, "what is a biblical Christian?" It's a question you can't be indifferent to or ignorant of--yet very few believers and almost no unbelievers can answer.

Shawn Farrell will be continuing our summer series on Gospel Greatness by looking at the topic of justification--the legal act of God by which a sinner is declared righteous. This is the crux of the whole Gospel message as it answers the question of how a sinful person can be made right before God.

This sermon will be an encouraging look at the supernatural love of God for fallen men and women like us. As I've prepared to preach this Sunday, I've been learning new things and been overwhelmed by the love of God for us.

We have the particular joy of having our missionary to Uganda, Shannon Hurley, back with us. He is a wild and crazy guy (but not in an SNL sense). Every time he's with us, Shannon flames with passion for the King who reigns over all. This year, we get to hear him preach on the doctrine of Reconciliation, as we continue our Summer Series on Gospel Greatness.

This sermon is the beginning of an exciting study of the doctrine of salvation, Gospel Greatness, as we rejoice over what Jesus Christ did for us through His life and death on the cross. This sermon surveys the entire doctrine, to see the overall cove so to speak, before we explore each individual truth.

The Lord will be giving us some needed reminders. My heart was so encouraged to pursue Christ and to work at reminding myself of what is really important--this is a powerful passage!

Jesus rocks His world by traveling for months through Gentile territory. He heals a deaf and speech-impaired man. His astonishing miracles are not only supernatural, but they are directly fulfilling prophecy, astonishing everyone. How is your level of astonishment when it comes to Jesus? Are you still blown away by the grace of God given to you?

God can save even the worst of sinners, and He can rescue a sinner in the final hours of his life. See the greatness of our Savior, and celebrate His incredible power to save and His great love for each of us!

Jesus leaves the land of Israel and travels 30 to 40 miles on foot to the land of Tyre and ministers greatly to a Gentile woman in great need. Not only does the Lord bless her by answering her request, but He also tests her faith in a way which will blow you away and open your eyes to how Christ tests us!
