In episode 2 of this season, I welcome to the Brewcast Khalil Rush'dan, convicted of murder, spent 15 1/2 years in prison, and was eventually exonerated. He shares here his story and his spiritual awakening as a result. He is a board member of the Arizona Justice Project, which helped him be exonerated. He serves as the Social Justice Program Manager for Arizona Faith Network. And he helps those being released from prison as they transition back into society through Sage Counseling. He also serves our community in many other capacities, including serving on boards and volunteering his time for others.
