8/7/16 - Shane Koehler - Israel's inheriting of God's promises and covenants has always required more than just ethnicity. God's sovereign grace and election are what make the difference between Israel as a nation and what Paul calls "the children of promise.” The same is true for all Christian believers. What guarantees salvation is not God’s foreknowledge of someone’s future decision of faith, good works, being born into a Christian family, etc., but only the sovereign choice of God.
8/7/16 - Richard Goff - (Genesis 4:16-24) In this study, we take a more in-depth look at the Common Grace of God that is on display in Genesis 4 as Cain’s offspring develop cities and culture. In addition, we highlight some prominent characteristics of secular society that are represented in the line of Cain.
