God’s plan for every single person is to prosper and have good success, but we have some responsibility in seeing this come to pass. If we want to see God working in our lives, we must follow His directions as revealed in the Bible. When we step out in faith and accept the challenge God has given us to conquer, He will work the supernatural in us and through us! We will truly experience God in our lives when we act in faith. We come to know God by experience as we obey Him and He accomplishes His work through us. In order to see God’s plan come to fruition in our lives, we have to repent of our fleshly ways and follow the path He has for us.

In our final lesson on the Names of God, we are talking about Jehovah Nissi, the Lord our Banner! Jesus is our banner and He is the Power and Presence of God in any assault the enemy attempts to bring. God is always the same and Jesus alone is our Victory in the challenges of life. Faith in God will cause us to rest even when a difficult circumstance is present because we know the God we serve is aware of the need, and He has a plan. It does not matter how bad the situation is: we cannot allow our emotions to control us because we know that God is willing and able to solve any problem we may face.

Living by faith is not about following a formula, but rather obeying God’s directions. When we know what God wants us to do, it is our job to trust Him to fulfill His promises. When we are obedient to God’s directions, He will do incredible, miraculous works through us. God’s Word will not return void. We can be confident when we speak God’s Word that it will accomplish its purpose. In order to see God’s plan come into fruition in our lives, we must be meditating on and speaking out His Word.

Bonus: Towards the end of the sermon, Tudor shares the latest miracle in the prison ministry in Mexico.

We can continue to walk in God’s peace even when our whole world crashes down on us. In the midst of the storm, we must keep our focus on Jesus in order to protect our peace. When we focus on the storm instead of Jesus, peace flees, and doubt and fear begin to produce anxiety. Peace resides in us through faith in God. We are to rule over our minds, take our thoughts captive, and bring them into subjection to the Lord. When we let the peace of God rule in our lives, He will lead us and guide us to what we are supposed to do.

Virgil Stokes, a faithful board member of Faith Family Church, shares his adventures in ministering the Gospel and encourages us to declare the message of salvation to everyone around us. We have a window of opportunity to tell people about Jesus, but we must move quickly before that opportunity slams shut. It is the Word of God that makes the difference, and as believers we are responsible for sharing the Word. Satan is constantly attacking the message of the Gospel, which is why we see so much chaos in the world. As believers we must stand strong on the Word of God and boldly declare it to the people around us.

We will encounter trouble in life, but through Jesus we can always come out victorious! Shadrach, Meshack, and Abednego are an excellent example of having peace and trusting God in the middle of a horrible situation. They were going to be burned alive for worshiping God, yet their confidence and devotion to God never wavered. Despite the severity of the problem, they stayed in peace and God miraculously saved them! We can walk in God’s perfect peace even when we are in the midst of a storm. During His time on the earth, Jesus always walked in peace – and we are to be examples of Him.
