One of the signs Jesus said would follow us in Mark 16:17 is, “In My name, you will take up serpents…”. This is part of the Great Commission and if we’re to do all He commands – heal the sick, cast out demons – we must also ‘TAKE UP SERPENTS!’ What does that mean and how can we have victory over serpents and scorpions?
