Aloha and welcome back to our Come Just as You Are series, where we do nothing more then talk stories about various topics in life. Sharing experiences and knowledge that we can all pull from and take away more of Christ.
In todayʻs episode we (Kanoi and I) sit down and talk about one of the hardest things to talk about to pretty much anyone, our insecurities! In my last episode of Faith In Between I talked about my biggest insecurity and how life has been dealing with all of it while waiting on the promise of God to be fullfilled and it finally has! So I wanted to pick Kanoiʻs brain on things that she felt was important to her and what her biggest insecurity is.... IT WILL SHOCK YOU! .. I hope you tune in and sit in this conversation just as you are!!
Special announcement: We will be adding a third host in our Come Just As You Are series. Are third sister, Rachel. We hope to start sitting in and recording with her soon because I cannot wait to have her share how she walks with Christ and let God speak through her.
its the holiday season and Im so excited to start doing all the holiday related things! I hope to be with you guys in the next one byee!!

Aloha Friends,
As said in my last episode (3 ways to secure insecurities in christ) I am bringing to you folks a new poem in my Poetry&Podcasting series, Ep2: When I Grow up, I wrote this poem in the early morning hours of my 28th birthday. There was a lot running through my mind about how my insecurities are so front and center in my life. It got me thinking about when we were younger and people would ask us throughout school ʻwhatʻ we wanted to be and never really allowed us to be ʻwhoʻ we wanted to be because we still had to fit into society based on their standards of things. Here I want to showcase how I want to teach my children different, I want to make sure they know that they can be in any career they want to, but who they will be the person the characteristics that we choose to instill and portray as we grow is so much more important in this world. We are battling the enemy everyday and from a young age we are programed to be who they want us to be and most of the time it always happens, but sometimes we have those wonder and amazing people who chose to do things differently while being amazing people in the process and I absolutely agree with that 100%.
I hope you guys enjoy this piece and I hope that it inspires you to be who you want to be. Thanks so much for tuning in to this episode.
Mahalo, Fatz

INSECURITIES! I know the word scares you, it scares me! it makes me want to hide in my closet and shut the world out, does it do the same for you? Imagine not being able to hide or disguise that which makes us so insecure to the world, I donʻt even want to think about it honestly. Todayʻs episode I want to share with you my BIGGEST INSECURITY, (runs in the closet) **WARNING** ugly cry ahead... (sorry for the water works). Though my insecurity has me in tears till this day it doesn't keep me captive as it once did. Olelo No’eau: #276: E Hana mua a paʻa ke kahua mamua o ke aʻo ana Aku ia haʻi

Why do we some times become offended when coming across something or someone that is different than us? Why do we take offense to it enough to hate or dislike that person because of it?? Look I get it, Im no different when it comes to differences in people especially differences that I find to be "wrong" in my eyes, but what does God say about people and offenses?.. He says to Love one another from the beginning (1John 3:11) and that love covers all offenses (proverbs 10:12). So why is this all important anyway? come join me today on Faith In Between to figure out why its so important that we understand this ideal way of thinking, I'm no expert on love especially perfect love (1 Corinthians 13:4-8), but I am someone who struggles with this as well and thought it would be nice to sit and have a chat about it, in hopes that it would bring us more of an understanding about truly loving each other even through our differences.
Main Scripture: 1 John 3:11: For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

today I want to talk about what is currently on a lot of our plates; Distance Learning. this new form of school has our scheduled shifted, routines twisted and our attention fully committed to helping our littles ones have the best school year they possible can get with our homes being the classroom and ourselves being their T.A's (teachers assistance) for the next few weeks.
Main Scripture: 1 Kings 3:9: "So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours."
