As I continued reading through John chapter 9, I was reminded that our testimony is one of the greatest witnesses to God’s transforming power.
The man who had been born blind didn’t have all the answers to the questions he was asked. Instead, he simply shared what he knew: Jesus had changed his life.
In this reflection, we explore how our personal testimony can speak louder than fear, criticism, and doubt, pointing others to the faithfulness of Christ.
Scripture (KJV):
“He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.”John 9:25
May this reflection encourage you to remember what God has done in your own life and never underestimate the power of your testimony. Sometimes, the most powerful witness isn’t having every answer—it’s simply sharing what Jesus has done.
As I continued reading through John’s Gospel, one truth stayed with me long after I had finished reading: faith often walks before it sees.
In this reflection from John 9:1–12, Jesus challenges the way we view suffering and reminds us that God’s purpose is often greater than our understanding. As I reflected on this passage, I was reminded that faith doesn’t always begin with answers. Sometimes it begins with simple obedience and trusting the One who sees what we cannot.
Scripture:“Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.”John 9:3 (KJV)
May this reflection encourage you to trust God’s purpose, even when the path ahead is unclear, and to keep walking by faith, knowing that He is always at work.
In this episode of Faith in the Journey, we reflect on one of the most powerful truths found in John 8. Jesus was misunderstood, falsely accused, and challenged, yet He never defended His own honour. Instead, He completely trusted the Father to honour Him.
As we explore this passage together, we’re reminded that our identity is not found in the opinions of others but in our relationship with God. When we know who we are in Christ, we no longer need to strive for people’s approval we can rest in the confidence that God is our Defender.
My prayer is that this reflection encourages you to trust God with your reputation, remain faithful in every season, and find peace in His unfailing love.
In this episode of Faith in the Journey, we reflect on John 8:37- 47, where Jesus reveals why many rejected Him despite hearing His words.
This passage reminds us that knowing Scripture is not enough we must allow God’s Word to transform our hearts. As we abide in Christ, we learn to recognise His voice, walk in His truth, and follow Him faithfully.
May this reflection encourage you to seek Jesus with a humble heart and to let His light shine within you.
