"Samson's Mother, Moshe's Mother, && Samuel's Mother"
We are very excited to be starting this new series of studies! Looking forward to learning with all of you from the examples we have been given in scripture on how to fulfill this role that YHWH designed just for us: Motherhood.
Whether you are feelings like an unnamed woman in your life currently ( like we have before) or not- I think it is safe to say that we all have struggled with finding fulfillment in our role at some point or another.
It doesn't end at lacking fulfillment though, does it? More often than not we are filled with fear, we struggle with resentment, we lack patience/strength/endurance, we feel battered && bruised by our assignment, and worst of all...we feel alone.
But we aren't ever really alone in this. That is just the lies && schemes of the enemy. Every mother out there has a whole entire country sized "container" of other mommas feeling the exact same way, or struggling with the exact same issue, or searching for their own tribe of biblically minded mommas to banned together with.
Exactly how we saw with Samuel && Samson's mothers today. They both were tasked with the same mission. To raise their blessing of a son from the womb on in the Nazarite Vow. To help guide those future judges for Israel to the very best of their ability. Imagine if they would have had the support of one another! Don't even get me started on Moshe's momma....being forced to give up her son for his own safety. Losing a child is something You never recover from- even when you know that YHWH works all things out for good. Imagine the support she could have used.
So let's find those momma's we desperately need to keep us supported through this journey of digging in to His word && raising these babies how He has asked us to. Link arms with them (or us) and push one another to be better every single day.
While always remembering what Amanda said in today's episode “We are raising the future, we are raising those who have the potential for YHWH to use to change the world. We have to just be brave enough to tell them AHAV (ah-ha-va) place them in YHWH's hands and walk away”
Lets put our best foot forward today, and when we stumble/fall again later on down the road- let's get back up, dust ourselves off, and get back to our most important work.
