Sometimes people get confused when they read the story of Jesus being tempted in the wilderness. “So if I just resist Satan’s temptation like Jesus, I’m good to go?” Well, that’s no exactly the point. When we look at our lives, it doesn’t take long to realize that we come nowhere near God’s standard of perfection. We need someone to fight for us.
