How do you teach your child to recognize God's leading without encouraging them to label every thought or feeling “God told me”?

Why does this conversation matter now? Because as your child moves toward the middle school years, friends, social pressure, online influences, questions, and independence will become louder. Rules and good behavior alone cannot prepare them for those pressures. You want your child to understand who Jesus is, what He has done, why they need Him, and what it means to belong to Him.

In this video, we look at the biblical difference between being a “good kid” and being born again. You’ll learn how to explain repentance and faith, why saying a prayer is not a formula for salvation, how assurance is anchored in Christ rather than perfect behavior, and why good works are the fruit of new life—not the root of salvation.

You’ll also learn practical questions you can ask your child so you can listen to what they actually believe instead of simply teaching them what words to repeat. The goal is not to manufacture a spiritual moment.
