In our third week of our series You Asked For It, we examine the question: Can I lose my salvation? It is a confusing question, but this week's sermon shows what the Bible says.

Our culture portrays love as something you fall in and out of, just like that. In today's culture, it is totally acceptable and even encouraged to you have sex before, during and after marriage. If you could ask God a question, what would it be? We begin a series based on the questions submitted a few weeks ago. How fitting on this Easter Sunday that the first question is whether or not there is credible evidence for the resurrection of Jesus from the dead.

What would you say is the most important thing for the church to focus on? What is the most important thing that a follower of Jesus Christ should be focused on with their life? In the final sermon in our series, we look at what the bible says that should be.

A good shepherd is always willing to do whatever it takes to find the one lost sheep. In John chapter 10, Jesus refers to himself as the Good Shepherd. We, the people He loves so much, are often referred to as sheep.The parable of the lost sheep was His way of saying He would do anything to find His lost sheep - those of us in need of salvation. If Jesus is willing to do whatever it takes to reach lost people, shouldn't we also?

Jesus says that his followers must pick up their cross and follow him. When we listen to Jesus' instructions and pick it up it is noticeable, uncomfortable, personal, permanent, and public.

Who holds it all together? What single name outweighs everything on this earth? A name that captures all of history's past? One single name that holds the potential of eternity's future? There is a name that holds it all, a name beyond all imagination and holding all possible potential. His name is Jesus and there is no other name.

If you could, would you remove everything bad from the world right now? What if you could push a button and suddenly everything bad in the world would go away? Before you answer, have you ever done anything bad? Have your children? How about your parents? The final sermon in our Prepared series discusses why a Good God would allow all the bad and injustice in the world.

Today's sermon is about the Bible and ways to talk about it when it becomes part of our conversation. Hopefully, we will come away with a couple of simple statements that relate to why we take the Bible seriously, and why "we don't believe what we believe because the Bible says so...its better than that."
