What Jesus did, was to change your heart.

2. Confusing a personal relationship with God for a private relationship with God.
When the situation is most critical, it's the quality of your relationship with your child that determines the depth of your influence with them.
Paul is saying to us as dads that our approach towards raising our kids should match the way God cares for the Church.
Two Keys to having a great relationship with your child:
1. They have to feel accepted by you.
2. They've got to have your time.
How do I get back what I've lost?
You love. You bless. You serve.
God cares more about our hearts than our behaviors.
