As we study James chapter two today, we’re going to discuss a subject of some controversy - the relationship between faith and works. It’s been said that separating faith and works is like separating the heat and light from a candle. You know both are produced by the candle, and you know that they are not the same thing. You also know you cannot separate them. James says faith without works is dead, while Paul said we are saved by faith, apart from any works! Is there a way for these two statements to co-exist?
