Hay ladies and welcome back to faith In between Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays I know that we are all in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Christmas time, I hope your taking time out for yourself and slowing down to enjoy all that this season brings.  I know I’m starting to learn to do that a little, it’s a learning process honestly, but I will get there and if your not I hope you get there as well.  As the year 2020 comes to an end so will this season, iʻm going to be ending this season out with todayʻs episode and I will see you folks on February 2nd 2021 for season 3. Happy Holidays, as the year draws close to a closing and even closer to our lives increasing in intensity and craziness I wan to bring you something that you can carry with you throughout this holiday season as well as into the new year,  4 Pillars! This pillars I hope will act as a foundation to you as we encounter new and changing circumstances. This is my second to the last episode until the season closes and we welcome in 2021, im sad and excited all at the same time for the podcast and for all of our lives because I know God has amazing and wonderful things for us in the future.  what are 4 pillars:  4 morals or characteristics that you believe strongly in, to which you can go back to when you. need to remember what you stand for.

steps you an take to pick your 4 pillars

1. Think of and list out morals or characteristics about yourself that you find yourself having strong belief in. (it can be more then 4 just list them out right now)
2. Narrow them down as much as you can (if you have more then 4 and its what you truly, strongly believe in then great the more the stronger of a foundation) 
3. Get rid of all the ones that you donʻt feel as strongly toward in your life. 
4. Pray over the final list and let God speak to you on each one, and allow yourself to be rooted and posted upon those pillars. 
5. Bonus: come up with a way to remember you list to be intentional each day, try a montra or having them posted for you to see

1. faith

4. growth 

My Montra (use as an example to create yours):  today your FAITH will be bigger then your circumstances, You will PRAY  for yourself, others and through all your circumstances. You will choose JOY  and give it freely to others as it is given so to you and you will seek GROWTH daily because it is essential to your calling in Christ. You are never to old, to wise or to all knowing to grow into the purpose that God has for you in you life.

As said in my last  episode (3 ways to secure insecurities in christ) I am bringing to you folks a new poem in my Poetry&Podcasting series, Ep2: When I Grow up, I wrote this poem in the early morning hours of my 28th birthday.  There was a lot running through my mind about how my insecurities are so front and center in my life.  It got me thinking about when we were younger and people would ask us throughout school ʻwhatʻ we wanted to be and never really allowed us to be ʻwhoʻ we wanted to be because we still had to fit into society based on their standards of things.  Here I want to showcase how I want to teach my children different, I want to make sure they know that they can be in any career they want to, but who they will be the person the characteristics that we choose to instill and portray as we grow is so much more important in this world.  We are battling the enemy everyday and from a young age we are programed to be who they want us to be and most of the time it always happens, but sometimes we have those wonder and amazing people who chose to do things differently while being amazing people in the process and I absolutely agree with that 100%.

INSECURITIES! I know the word scares you, it scares me! it makes me want to hide in my closet and shut the world out, does it do the same for you? Imagine not being able to hide or disguise that which makes us so insecure to the world, I donʻt even want to think about it honestly.  Todayʻs episode I want to share with you my BIGGEST INSECURITY,  (runs in the closet) **WARNING**  ugly cry ahead... (sorry for the water works).  Though my insecurity has me in tears till this day it doesn't keep me captive as it once did. There is beauty there, I get to come here today and share with you three of my top ways I Secured my Insecurities In Christ so letʻs go!

3 Ways to secure insecurities in Christ

1. His Character

He is Your Rock Your Savior (Psalm 18:46)
