There are times when you feel just empty,
when you are so lost, stranded nowhere on a broken boat.
There are times, when you are tired,
when you don’t understand, how can life don’t work the same you planned.
When you feel the weight on your chest
crushing down your hopes and dreams,
Nobody’s around you left to keep you going,
You realized in the end you’re all alone,
You realized you’ve been too far from home.
Come home, come home to where you belong,
Bring your knees back to the ground,
Lay your head down to rest,
Whisper softly your du’a,
As soft as only you and your Rab can hear,
Pour your heart out in your sujood.
There was always Allah, welcoming you home
Embracing you, listening to all your moans
Even though you’ve been away
There was always Allah, speaking to you,
Comforting you, He found you lost and guided you
There was always Allah, healing you,
Reminding you, that in every hardship comes more ease.
Come home, you’re too far from home
Come home, you’re longing to be home
Come home, to where you belong
