This teaching then covers chapters 1 to 3 of 2 Samuel that includes: David learning of the death of King Saul in an unusual way; Saul's son, Ish-bosheth, vying for the kingship of Israel with David; Saul's general, Abner, being murdered by David's general, Joab; and David mourning Abner's death.
