Martin Luther argues that it is a sacrilege to remove the Law from the church. The Law is in the state of "being done" in the Christian. This is sanctification. The only time the Law is not fulfilled is in our sinful state. Human "intention of a better life" cannot be part of a sanctified life. Sin battles faith but does not win. Ultimately, we are not a sinner, we are a Christian. "Whatever is not from faith is sin"-Romans 14:13.--Sins of weakness are contrasted with sins of impenitence. Impenitence is where a person is deeply engrossed in the sin and ignores that it is wrong and denies it as sin. Wanting to be free from the action of sin is penitence is indicated by a sincere desire for forgiveness.--- The sin of blasphemy, sin against the Holy Spirit, is discussed in detail. This finishes Luther's 9th Argument.

In this section of the book titled, "Anonymous Antinomian Theses", Luther documents the individual positions of Agricola, who at this point, had remained anonymous and was unwilling to publically debate his antinomian views. By documenting Agricola's views, Luther did not want to appear to agree with the anonymous author's preposterous positions by remaining silent.

Pages 23 to 27 are covered in this section titled, "Anonymous Antinomian Theses".
