We will be known by God with what is in our hearts and the fruit of our hands will be the evidence of that. In today's episode we dive into Jeremiah 24 and we learn lessons from the vision that Jeremiah had about the two baskets of figs. We also look at God's promise of hope and restoration to those that hold onto HIM through the good and the bad times.

In Today's episode we dive into Jeremiah 16. The nation of Judah have been heading towards God's judgement and this chapter lays out what they will go through. God also speaks of the cause for His judgement. But as we read those words from God, we get to also see a picture of His pursuit in light of the disobedience of the people. God did not give up on them and he does not give up on us. He is persistent in His pursuit of us. 

Have you ever felt distracted in your quiet times, allowed days to pass before realising that you have not been consistent in your bible reading and time with God. We as a people can be easily prone to wander. The enemy strikes us in many ways but the most effective is when his attempts are directed towards making our daily steps gradually turn away from God because then we get spiritually weak. 

In Today's episode, we continue through our study of Jeremiah, we look at Jeremiah 14. We delve into physical drought the nation was enduring and parallel this with the spiritual drought one experiences when we move away from God. And what can help us stay strong and form in our walk with God. 

“God desires to and communicates to us through different ways – do we take the time to listen?” This is something we all can struggle with, especially these days because our lives are so filled with “noise” which makes it more difficult to focus on God’s voice. 

James 4:8 says Draw near to God and He will draw near to us. 

In today's episode we spend time in Jeremiah 13 where God uses the imagery of a belt to remind us that we are to live bound to Him, that is what God desires and we what it means to stay bound to Him and live out our days for His honour and glory.

When we experience trials, questions arise within our hearts and more often than not the question 'why' can pour out from us. 'Why me', 'why this' or 'why now' Lord. In today's episode we look into Jeremiah 12, a time in Jeremiah's life where he had some of his own 'why' questions and he pours them out to God and we delve into God's response to him. 

We often ascribe glory to God but do we acknowledge God as our glory. What does it mean when we read in scripture God referred to as the 'glory of His people'. God formed us for His glory. In today's episode as we continue our study through the book of Jeremiah, we take a look at who we are created to be and where our loyalties and gaze should lie. We look at what it means to embrace God as our glory. 

In our culture to stand up for the truth has become increasingly difficult as the world pulls away from God. We find ourselves in a time where sinful practices is the norm and Christians can often be perceived as those who seem to be disconnected from the progressive nature of our culture. But it is important to step out and step forth for the truth but it is not always easy as we can so often be riddled with doubt and fear. In Today's episode we begin a study through Jeremiah, we look at the very beginning of Jeremiah's foray into being called by God to be His prophet, His hesitation to his calling and God's response to it.
