If you're an overwhelmed mom struggling with burnout, playing it safe, and feeling like your life has quietly shrunk into a loop you never actually chose — this episode is for you.
Have you ever looked up and realized your whole life is running on autopilot? Have you ever felt the slow, sneaky comfort of a routine that keeps you safe but leaves you completely uninspired? Have you ever thought, I used to have dreams — and then immediately pushed that thought back down because who has time for that?
Mama, comfortable isn't the same as content. And your growth is waiting on the other side of that distinction.
In this episode we are shaking things up — and I mean across the board. Because comfort zones don't just show up in the big scary areas of life. They creep into your marriage, your parenting, your work, your friendships, and the dreams you've quietly stopped talking about. And when an overwhelmed mom gets stuck in the comfort zone long enough, it doesn't just stall her growth — it drains the color right out of her life.
The good news? You don't have to blow up everything to break free. You just have to pick one area and add a little zest. Oh — and stick around for the story I tell at the end. You're going to want to hear that one.

Episode Title: Mom Guilt Decoded: Why Overwhelmed Moms Feel It Most and How to Finally Let It Go
Episode Description: If you're an overwhelmed mom struggling with burnout, mom guilt, and feeling like you can never quite do enough no matter how hard you try — this episode is for you.
Have you ever felt guilty for working — and then guilty for not working enough? Have you ever finally stolen five minutes alone only to spend the whole time feeling bad about it? Have you ever done everything right and still gone to bed with that low-grade hum of I should have done more following you under the covers?
Mama, the guilt is lying to you. And today we're decoding it together.
In this episode I'm baring it all — personal stories, real talk, and some down-to-earth strategies for tackling one of the most universal and exhausting parts of motherhood. Whether you're a working mom trying to juggle career dreams with precious family moments, a stay-at-home mom wondering why the 24/7 superhero gig still comes with a side of shame, or just a mom who got interrupted during her one shower of the week — this episode is for you.
Because here's what I know: the overwhelmed mom who can't shake the guilt isn't failing. She's just never been given permission to put it down. And that permission? Consider it granted.
We're also getting into the guilt that sneaks in around your marriage — because when you're running on empty and drowning in self-judgment, your relationship feels it too. Letting go of mom guilt isn't just self-care. It's one of the most important things you can do for every relationship in your life.

If you're an overwhelmed mom struggling with burnout, marriage disconnection, and wondering if the happily-ever-after you dreamed of is even still possible — this episode is for you.
Have you ever looked at your marriage and thought, how did we get here? Have you ever felt the distance between you and your husband grow so slowly that by the time you noticed it, it felt like a canyon? Have you ever wanted to get back to the way things used to feel — but had absolutely no idea where to even start?
Mama, you are not alone. And your marriage is not beyond repair.
This week I'm sitting down with Dave and Yvette Ulloa, founders of Warriors & Queens and Unshakeable Love Mastery, and they are bringing the goods. These two have walked alongside countless couples on the edge of giving up and helped them find their way back to each other — and today they're pulling back the curtain on exactly what causes most marriages to crumble and what it actually takes to turn it around. Whether your marriage is in crisis or just quietly running on fumes, this conversation is going to give you real, practical hope.
Because the mindset shift that saves a struggling marriage isn't about grand gestures or perfect communication scripts — it's about understanding the one dynamic that's quietly doing the most damage, and choosing to do something different.

🥳Woohoo! It's the kick off to our Come as You Are series!
Check it out as I interview my friend Segal Bunn where we get down to the nitty gritty of daily life as Mom. We cover everything from being a stay at home mom and getting back into the workforce, what age to let your kids date, and more!
Stick around for our Speed Round where I throw some questions at Segal shotgun style and we find out what is the one thing she can't live without (it might be what you would answer, too), and other fun questions.
Oh yes, and there will be laughing...

If you're an overwhelmed mom struggling with burnout, toxic positivity, and a gratitude practice that feels more like a guilt trip than a reset — this episode is for you.
Have you ever stared at a blank gratitude journal page and felt your stomach tie up in knots instead of feeling better? Have you ever been told to "just focus on the good" when you were drowning and wanted to throw the whole advice out the window? Have you ever wondered if all this gratitude stuff is actually a crock — or if you're just doing it wrong?
Mama, you might not be doing it wrong. You might just need permission to tell the truth first.
Here's the thing about gratitude — it's everywhere. Journals, Facebook groups, blog posts, morning routines. And yet somehow, for the overwhelmed mom who is already running on empty, being told to list three things she's thankful for can feel like one more thing she's failing at. So what if the key to getting out of the funk isn't forcing the gratitude — but walking down what I call the truth trail first?
In this episode I'm getting real about what gratitude actually is, what it isn't, and why sometimes it's completely okay to not flip that frown upside down right away. Because the mindset shift that gets you back to genuinely seeing the beauty in your life isn't about pretending — it's about being honest enough to find your way there for real.
⚠️ Heads up, Mama — if you've got littles around, I do drop an sh*t bomb at 12:52. You've been warned.

I didn't know that becoming a Mom could so drastically change your life.
Sure, I logically knew that it would be 24/7 care, that going out like I did before kids would take a bit of a haitus, but to lose myself completely to it? Craziness!
And that's exactly what happened.
We're going to go on the journey of getting to motherhood (there's an invitro story in there) and all the expectations that I had to what actually happened and how it changed the person that I was.
Motherhood is no joke. And what I didn't realized was that I was going to have some hard work ahead to rediscover who I actually am while balancing the game of kids, marriage, friendships and the dreams I have for life.
We're kicking off with the origin story of this mission to reach out to other Mama's who are desperate for unleashing that vibrant woman who lived before kids, you know, the one who made decisions not based off of naptime, how many snacks to pack or who doesn't mind if kids are around.
So, sit back, relax... well, let's be real. Get that laundry folded and actually put away while we kick off this friendship and get to know each other!
**If you’re listening with some littles around, I do drop sh*! moment once.

TOP 10% GLOBALLY RANKED PODCAST!! Do you ever find yourself wondering, "What am I even doing with my life?" Do you put yourself in "time-out" just to catch a breath? Do you ever feel like…
Well Mama, you are in the right place.
Faithful Mama Rising is a faith-filled podcast for overwhelmed moms who are tired of living in survival mode and ready to rise into the woman they're called to be.
This is where you'll start feeling seen, supported, and grounded again… where you'll reconnect with who you actually are and start leading your life on your own terms.
I'm Mitch—girl mama of two, wife to my hunk-o-hunk of lovin' husband, Andrew, and a former Mom-ster who once lived knee-deep in overwhelm, resentment, and loneliness. For years, I believed the right checklist or perfect schedule would magically fix everything. But no amount of planning stopped the Mom-ster from returning—and it definitely didn't help me feel supported or seen.
Through real conversations, faith, and learning to actually lead myself, I learned how to release the pressure of the endless to-do list, ask for help, reconnect with myself, and—get this—be playful again. My lips literally remembered how to smile.
And now? I'm here to walk this journey with you.
If you're ready to stop chasing quick fixes that only last three days, reclaim the woman God created you to be, and rise out of feeling stuck and into a life of grace, support, and purpose—these are the conversations for you.
So fold the laundry—or don't (honestly, it's clean, that's what matters)—and let's get our change on.
