I wish I could speak like her.
I wish I had the confidence to do what he does.
I could never do that…
Sound familiar? It’s happened to us all. We have a moment where we see someone stepping out boldly and powerfully standing in all their true glory and we want to be like that. But something just seems to be holding us back.
We think to ourselves, “Well, that’s just not me. This is just who I am.” And we leave it at that.
And it couldn’t be further from the truth.
We aren’t fixed beings and if you look back in your life, there are probably moments where you did step forward and unleash your boldest self.
In this episode, I’m talking about 3 things that hold us back from being that unstoppable force that is prowling around inside of us, just waiting to be unleashed. And every single one of those things are something that we can overcome to live boldly in our true power.

We are back with Lauren and Jenn to get the final details about the surrogacy journey.
From secret passwords for go time, to family flying in and waiting too long for the baby to arrive and everything in between, we laughed and talked about the fact that this journey includes so many more people than just these 2 women.
And it was never clearer than the final hour when the baby came and the joy almost ended in horrible tragedy. Who freaked out and who maintained their calm when this all went down?

A few weeks ago when I was catching up with an old friend and she shared about how she had become a surrogate, for her husband's ex-college roommate, no less.
Whoa.
Her story was so intriguing, I had to hear the other side.
In this episode, I asked every question under the sun that I could think of about what the whole process was like for Lauren, who was trying desperately to become a mother and Jenn who became the surrogate to make that dream a reality. We learned:
🤔 How the decision was made to become a surrogate
💰 What someone was willing to pay on the quest for motherhood
📝 The legal work that is involved… oh the paperwork! And I can't do what!?
🔄 The amount of hoops it takes to make it happen
👶 Getting to the delivery
These 2 women share all the feels, the worries, the truths of what it's like to come together and make a family dream come true.

If you're an overwhelmed mom struggling with burnout, boredom, and that creeping feeling that life has gotten smaller than you ever intended — this episode is for you.
Have you ever noticed that somewhere between the school years and the mom years, you stopped asking questions? Have you ever felt bored or anxious with where you've landed in life and had no idea why — when on paper everything looks fine? Have you ever felt that itch for something more but couldn't figure out what you were even searching for?
Mama, I think you've been missing curiosity. And today we're getting it back.
Here's the thing about curiosity — it's one of those words loaded with wonder and anticipation that we somehow decided was just for kids. We stop exploring, stop pushing limits, stop asking who we are and who we have the potential to become. And then we wonder why we end up bored, dissatisfied, and anxious. The overwhelmed mom who has lost her curiosity isn't just stuck in a rut — she's slowly losing access to the most vibrant parts of herself. And that shows up everywhere. In her mindset. In her marriage. In the way she moves through her days.
In this episode we are buckling up and hopping back on the curiosity rollercoaster — and yes, I'm even getting into how I completely freaked out when AI showed up on the scene. Anyone else? Come for the vulnerability, stay for the adventure.

It's girl hang out time with my good friend, Tiffani Mitzel!
Tiffani runs her own business (https://tiffanimitzelinsurance.com/) from home while raising 2 littles under 5 along with her husband, Tyler.
We have fun as we talk about how she fell for her husband back in her high school days (remember those Abercrombie models??), how she ended up owning her own insurance company, what her average day looks like, what causes the most stress as well as what is her favorite time of the day, and then there are those date days to keep her marriage lively.
Get ready to laugh and relate as we both share how we were the BEST parents before we ever had kids and how raising kids IRL isn't what we thought it would be.

If you're an overwhelmed mom struggling with burnout, going through the motions, and wondering why life feels so much less than you imagined it would — this episode is for you.
Have you ever read a statistic and felt it land a little too close to home? Have you ever finished a perfectly fine day and still gone to bed feeling vaguely empty — like something important is missing but you can't quite name it? Have you ever wondered if this low-grade dissatisfaction is just what mom life is supposed to feel like — and quietly, terrifyingly, started to accept it?
Mama, less than one out of two people are highly satisfied with their life. And we are not settling for those odds.
I came across a life satisfaction survey recently that stopped me in my tracks — only 47% of people report being highly satisfied with their lives. And I couldn't stop thinking about it. Because that means the majority of us are somewhere between fine and unfulfilled, going through the motions, embracing mediocrity without even realizing we signed up for it. And for the overwhelmed mom who is already running on empty? Those two satisfaction killers have the perfect conditions to take root.
In this episode I'm breaking down exactly what those two things are, how they sneak into your life without announcing themselves, and — because we are not ending on a bummer — the three mindset shifts you can start making right now to get the excitement back. Your life is not a backup plan. It's the main event.
In this episode we talk about:

There are certain times in life when "YES" is not the answer you want to hear. My dear friend Montse experienced exactly that when her doctor said, "This is bad" and she asked, "Is it cancer?"
"YES."
What actually happens when that one little word changes the life you were living in an instant?
That's exactly what we are finding out in this episode. I ask any question that I may have had when I've wondered about it, from what is the hair loss like, to missing your boobs (yup, we say boobs a lot in this episode) and looking in the mirror at a different person. And most importantly, how did it affect her kids and family life while going through a treatment that feels worse than the disease.
Montse is absolutely open about all of these details and more as we sit back and have a friend to friend conversation about the nitty gritty of living with breast cancer.

If you're an overwhelmed mom struggling with burnout, isolation, and wondering why something as simple as making friends feels so impossibly hard in this season — this episode is for you.
Have you ever googled how to make mom friends and gone down a rabbit hole that left you feeling more hopeless than when you started? Have you ever shown up to something with every intention of connecting and still driven home feeling completely alone? Have you ever looked around at those moms who somehow have a whole crew and thought — how are they doing that?
Mama, you are not the only one Googling this. One of the top searches around moms and friendship is literally whether there's a Tinder app for finding mom friends. And honestly? That tells you everything about how real this loneliness is.
Here's the truth — making friends as a mom is just different. Kids get sick. Last minute school stuff blows up your plans. You haven't slept enough, you forgot to figure out dinner, and you are just plain exhausted. The spontaneous friendships of your school days don't work the same way anymore. But that doesn't mean connection isn't possible — it just means it shows up differently now.
I started tracking what I noticed in those unicorn moms — the ones who were just as busy as everyone else but somehow still had these incredible friendships. And I found five qualities that showed up over and over again. I'm calling it the Confidence Code, and today I'm breaking it all the way down so you can go from lonely to knowing you've got your crew.

Being an empty nester certainly doesn't mean your journey in motherhood has come to an end. 🕊️ It's just a new beginning. 🌅 Of course, it was the journey getting there that really defined who Dana Trant became in life.
Check out this episode where we kick back and talk about the "bird's eye view" of motherhood from a place of not being that primary caregiver. 🦉 Dana dives into how she used intentionality to really curate a life that made her feel fueled as a Mom, as a wife, and most importantly, as the woman she had dreamed of herself becoming. 💪
If you feel like you could use a glimpse of the longview to get you through the longest days (and shortest years), make sure to check out how Dana made life work for her and her family. It certainly left me inspired! ✨

TOP 10% GLOBALLY RANKED PODCAST!! Do you ever find yourself wondering, "What am I even doing with my life?" Do you put yourself in "time-out" just to catch a breath? Do you ever feel like…
Well Mama, you are in the right place.
Faithful Mama Rising is a faith-filled podcast for overwhelmed moms who are tired of living in survival mode and ready to rise into the woman they're called to be.
This is where you'll start feeling seen, supported, and grounded again… where you'll reconnect with who you actually are and start leading your life on your own terms.
I'm Mitch—girl mama of two, wife to my hunk-o-hunk of lovin' husband, Andrew, and a former Mom-ster who once lived knee-deep in overwhelm, resentment, and loneliness. For years, I believed the right checklist or perfect schedule would magically fix everything. But no amount of planning stopped the Mom-ster from returning—and it definitely didn't help me feel supported or seen.
Through real conversations, faith, and learning to actually lead myself, I learned how to release the pressure of the endless to-do list, ask for help, reconnect with myself, and—get this—be playful again. My lips literally remembered how to smile.
And now? I'm here to walk this journey with you.
If you're ready to stop chasing quick fixes that only last three days, reclaim the woman God created you to be, and rise out of feeling stuck and into a life of grace, support, and purpose—these are the conversations for you.
So fold the laundry—or don't (honestly, it's clean, that's what matters)—and let's get our change on.
