Missed yesterday's message? Watch as Pastor Kevin Burrows teaches on "3 Revelations About Being God’s Dwelling Place!"
Key Points:
Point 1: You Are Chosen — His Resting Place
Psalm 132:13 – “For the LORD has chosen Zion…”
In this shifting season, Psalm 132:13-14 is a prophetic declaration over your life: you are God’s chosen dwelling place.
Chosen means hand-selected, set apart, and prepared for His presence.
God didn’t choose the most powerful, the most qualified, or the most impressive place — He chose YOU!.
This truth should change how you view yourself, your circumstances, and your future.
Point 2: You Are Filled — His Presence Brings Provision
Psalm 132:15 – “I will bless her with abundant provisions.”
God Fills What He Dwells In - His presence always brings fullness — not just spiritually, but emotionally, mentally, and even materially.
Three Examples:
In Eden: Where God’s presence walked with Adam and Eve, there was no lack, no fear, no shame — everything they needed was in His presence.
In the Wilderness: God’s presence went before Israel in a cloud by day and fire by night — and as long as they stayed in His presence, manna fell, water flowed, and even their clothes never wore out (Deut. 29:5).
In the Early Church: When the presence of the Spirit filled the room in Acts 2, lack was destroyed — no one went without, because generosity and miracles broke out in the house.
Point 3: You Are Covered — His Presence Brings Salvation and Joy
Psalm 132:16 – “I will clothe her priests with salvation, and her faithful people will ever sing for joy.”
When God dwells somewhere, He clothes His people. His presence doesn’t leave you exposed — it covers you with salvation, righteousness, and joy.
Examples:
Clothed with Salvation: This isn’t just about being saved from sin — it’s about being wrapped in His deliverance, protection, and victory in every battle.
Joy as a Garment: His presence doesn’t just make you survive seasons — it gives you a song in the middle of them. Psalm 30:11 says, “You turned my mourning into dancing; you clothed me with joy.”
Priestly Authority: Priests ministered in the presence of God, and when they were clothed properly, they could enter boldly. His presence gives you confidence and access.
