Felt a little loopy recording this one, but oh well - I'm ripping apart the intelligence of the average Netflix viewer as I disagree with everyone who loved The Night Agent, which is a show that I think makes dumb people feel smart. Sorry about it. Also? I'm not loving this season of Yellowjackets so far! Is it me? Am I the drama?

Maybe.

I'm also talking about a potential X Files reboot, the cast of Blue Bloods willfully taking a pay cut to stay on the air, and how Lucky Hank is painfully, ridiculously, hilariously accurate in its portrayal of higher education English departments.

If you love mess, listen to this episode! Because the cast of Vanderpump Rules is the messiest of messes right now! I'm recapping (kind of) the tenth season so far, but mostly this episode is about the Raquel-Sandoval scandal (Scandoval?) that unfurled last week and the incestuous history of the #PumpRules cast. Our favorite chaotic queens are BACK, BABY! Also, I dip into the (also messy) premiere of Survivor 44, which saw three medical interventions, including an evacuation. What a week to be a reality TV fan!

This week we're doing something a little bit different! I'm touching on the final episodes and reunion of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, but mostly because I got an advance copy of Heather Gay's book Bad Mormon, so I have a little bit of a preview before it officially releases! From holy underwear to Lisa Barlow convincing herself she was casting the show and Heather learning the hard way that there's a difference between sexual attraction and emotional engagement, there's some juicy stuff (but no, you don't find out what happened to her eye). So enjoy that and then decide for yourself if you want to buy a copy of the book, which comes out tomorrow, February 7.

Then I'm getting into the new Paramount Plus YA werewolf show Wolf Pack, featuring the return of my forever queen Sarah Michelle Gellar, and guys... it's not pretty.

It's the holiday season! Before I recap on which streaming platforms you can find your favorite Christmas movies and specials, I break down some new stuff I watched this season that I recommend: 8-Bit Christmas on HBO Max, which came out last year and is about a group of tweens' quest for a Nintendo; The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, in which aliens kidnap Kevin Bacon as a gift for their friend; and Have You Heard of Christmas?, Matt Rogers' ridiculous musical comedy special about the day they made Saint Nick a saint. Needless to say, MAJOR SPOILERS FOR SEASON TWO OF THE WHITE LOTUS IN THIS EPISODE!

It's The White Lotus season two finale discussion! I loved this season so much, even if I was actively angry at it sometimes as it was airing, and there's a lot to talk about as creator Mike White gives us a complex meditation on sexual and gender politics. I had a lot of fun trying to make sense of all the relationships of these characters: their jealousies, their emotional attachments (or lack thereof), their hang-ups... it was a truly great season of television and a lot of fun to dissect a bit. Can't wait for season three, so get a move on, HBO!

Okay, it's Housewives time! Whether it's franchise fatigue or just general bad storytelling, I'm getting into why the current season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City isn't doing it for me all of a sudden. Whereas the scripted, sitcom-y vibe of the first few episodes of season three of RHOSLC were entertaining, it's getting exhausting and boring. I have theories. I also touch on The Real Housewives of Potomac, which is getting ugly as well.
