It's Thanksgiving week, which means it's actually Christmas; my podcast, my rules. So for news, we're talking about Candace Cameron Bure's big bag of BS at her new "NO GAYS ALLOWED" network, and then I'm diving into two new offerings to the holiday canon: the HBO Max sequel we've all been waiting 40 years for, A Christmas Story Christmas; and the Disney Plus continuation of one of my most beloved franchises, The Santa Clauses. Both fail and succeed in different ways, but the one thing they both want to do is knock you over the head with nostalgia.

TV is now for old people! I'm recapping Hulu's Steve Carrell vehicle The Patient and the new Sylvester Stallone series Tulsa King, which is by the Yellowstone guy and streaming on the service that seems to be actively targeting Boomers: Paramount Plus. There are also a bunch of tangents about The Masked Singer, So Help Me Todd, and that damn Dahmer show again. It's a stream-of-consciousness episode, for sure.

I thought this was going to be a shorter episode, but then I just never shut up. Oops!
This week I'm covering this exhausting, dark, terrible season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills; two really good Countdown to Christmas movies that aired over the last weekend in October; and the bizarre, awful way the internet treats celebrity deaths. Sounds fun, right?!

Happy Halloween and also Merry Early Christmas? My brain is confused because Hallmark started Countdown to Christmas a week earlier than usual this year. So I'm straddling the line between horror and holiday talking about American Horror Story: NYC, and how it's exploring the depths of queer fear, and Hallmark's Kristoffer Polaha-Marisol Nichols movie We Wish You a Married Christmas, which is perfectly sweet and silly and just stupid enough to be endearing.

Happy Halloween! To celebrate spooky season, I'm talking about horror this week! The scariest story, though, might be that James Corden is a complete douchenozzle, according to the owner of Balthazar in NYC. After going through that viral story of Corden getting banned from brunch, I'm talking about Netflix's new Ryan Murphy series The Watcher, which is essentially a season of American Horror Story without anything supernatural; and AMC's adaptation of Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire, which takes the source material and actually improves upon it (while also making it super queer). And then my Halloween recommendation is the Kevin Bacon conversion camp slasher film They/Them, streaming now on Peacock.

This week I'm recording an hour straight-through, so hopefully I don't sound like a crazy person by the end! There's a brief update on BravoCon at the top of the episode, followed by some memories of the late Dame Angela Lansbury, who sadly passed away last week. Then I'm getting into the new format and contestants on season 31 of Dancing with the Stars, which is over on Disney Plus now; the new format and contestants on The Masked Singer, which needs to be put out to pasture for a while; and the new format and contestants on Netflix's reboot of The Mole.

It's the finale of season two of RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race and this miniseries, Secret TV Critic! Ande is still sick, but she's back for a relatively short episode recapping the very unexciting final episode. Stay tuned at the end for some random conversation about Dahmer and some other stuff we're watching!

Ande is sick, so we're putting the final episode of Secret TV Critic recapping the finale of RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race on hold until next week. So it's back to just me, scrambling to find things to talk about. So you get one idiotic story of why a handful of chronically online people are trying to cancel Kesha and Katy Perry, plus a recap of Southern Charm's finale on Bravo and the first few episode of Netflix's Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story (that title is absolutely absurd, and I hate it more than anything else about the show... and I don't love much about the show).
NOTE: I had a very bad week, so my language is a bit more intense and more frequently explicit. If the word "f**k" offends you, I apologize. Sometimes I can't control my own mouth. Oops!

The goodwill is gone. RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race sucks now.
