Shawna’s friend needed help. She felt the pressure to have the right answer. But then Shawna realized, “I should just ask Jesus to speak directly to my friend.” And He did! Then, Jesus knows how to make the greatest impact through you. And to do so, sometimes he’ll ask you to make a change that just doesn’t make sense. Next, God doesn’t want us to stuff our emotions. He also doesn’t want us to spew our emotions onto everyone around us. But he does want us to bring the whole of our emotions to him. And the Psalms show us how. Then, in the gospels Jesus so often called himself “the Son of Man.” It’s a name that should cause us to fall on our faces before him! Last, he prayed for his doctor, who wanted nothing to do with faith. In that moment, it seemed like an epic fail. But not now!
