Chadwick Boseman was born and raised in Anderson, South Carolina. Went on to Howard University and studied at Oxford. He was a pioneer of his time in pursuing and crushing roles that represented himself and his community. From athletes, to musicians, activists, to superheroes, his range was immense. August 28, 2020 was celebrated as Jackie Robinson Day in the MLB and is also when Chadwick Boseman passed away and left us from battling colon cancer for 4 years. He did not make his battle public nor ask for anything.
Instead his lived his life to the fullest, with grace, honor, and dignity as he not only worked round the clock in films, but during his countless surgeries and chemo he made time to visit and work with Boys and Girls Club and terminally ill children. He was selfless and a true real world hero the world lost.
