The reason this can be such a process is emotional attachment to feelings. Love and Marriage, do they go together like a horse and carriage? Obviously thank to Al Bundy I am not the first to ask this question HA!

  • I can’t count on you - Marriage and relationship help

One of my biggest, most profound philosophies when I redefined my life, was learning how to build trust within something I call internal credibility. Being a man, I respect and someone I can count on when the crap hits the fan. I wasn’t prepared for this most recent experience while attending a three day seminar with Jeanne and two of my daughters.

This episode began as a check-in and quickly change directions as I said the phrase “I can’t count on you” that seems harsh it may not be exactly what you think.

Another one of my core philosophies you’re aware of if you follow this program awareness is a weapon as a force or opposite simply once you’re aware of something the power is in your hand to change it or accept it.

  • Marriage - Neglect and the danger it poses to your relationship

Jeanne and I have just come off of one of the most challenging weeks in our marriage in recent years.

A week long vacation missing romance. How did we get to that point !? The anguish I felt as the week went on and I found myself at the end of each day feeling so alone, but how ? We made some memories of a lifetime out there in paradise, things that were so full of awe, gratitude and joy. Due to a few missteps by Jeanne and I in the beginning of our trip things unraveled and caused a wedge between us. The feeling of neglect was heavy, like a weight almost unbearable. This was my experience for 3.5 days or so I thought. Where did it begin ? Join us for this episode as we open this discussion and seek to understand how things got to the place they were. Then we lean into the question of where do we go from here.

Fresh off this weeks vacation in Hawaii we cover that painful details of a trip to paradise and everything that went wrong as it jeopardized the intimacy within our 24 plus year relationship. A wonderful week filled with wonderful memories, amazing friends, breathtaking views. Copious amounts of Blessed fellowship were had over delicious meals during this God given vacation of a lifetime threatened to be overshadowed by heartbreak and miscommunication between Jeanne and I; repeatedly one after another until the moment it all went silent.

  • Marriage help - Fear of failure _ Are you hiding in life and your relationship?

Welcome back to another episode of MVSM!

I have a story to tell about my fear and failure in my weight loss journey, truth be told we all have a story to tell. What's yours? I know I know life is...Good, every little thing is going to be alright (at least that's the outside version) right?

Ever heard the saying " FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION"? I call BS! Failure is always an option and it takes on multiple faces, shapes, and versions ( especially when we make excuses and quit the wrong things because it's tough).

I have failed, I am failing, and I will fail in the future. So What! When my intentions are to succeed and my motivations are pure failing is not the end. Remember the past is a professor!

So, how do we face these fears and these failures, THAT is exactly what is baked into this weeks episode. Get in here already :)

From the publisher's feed

In a world that measures success by visibility, wealth, and applause, Family Famous flips the script.Family Famous means becoming famous where it matters most — at home. Not on social media. Not in titles or trophies. But in the hearts, trust, and lives of the people who matter most: your wife and children.Hosted by Quincy Moran — a transformational communicator, devoted husband of more than 26 years to Jeanne, and father of eight (including triplets and twins) — this podcast reaches and teaches men how to lead their homes with intention, consistency, and credibility. Quincy’s first ministry is his family. His life mission is to be, and to teach men how to become, Family Famous™.This is not self-improvement for its own sake. It is transformation rooted in faith in Jesus Christ. Too many men succeed everywhere except at home. Family Famous exists to change that. Through short, practical episodes (and occasional deeper keynotes), Quincy shares the real stories, the 5R Framework (Resourceful, Reliable, Resilient, Relentless, Remarkable), and the ownership required to build a legacy that outlives you.You don’t have to be perfect. You do have to be willing.Every episode closes with the same reminder:
