It is time to Man up, at least for Quincy it is. In this episode we talk about Identifying the habits and thought recognition which are indicators that you are feeling and acting insecure. Like in all challenges we see opportunity for awareness and personal growth. This episode gives you the inside line on how we can identify when we are operating out of places of insecurity as well as the root of what the matter truly is. When it comes to Men and confidence, or Men and insecurity the time is right for us to lean in and learn more about why we do what it is we do.

When a miscommunication brings about an epiphany
What happens when your crappy day turns into a major let down for your spouse? Jeanne hit a major milestone and I was completely oblivious to it all, even when she EXPOSED everything! My funky day got the better of me and in turn hurt my wife emotionally. Walk with us through the hard talk we had to have and see where our epic failures can actually turn out to be an epic epiphany.
Jeanne discovered that although my reaction and words were not what her unspoken expectation thought they should be, they were the catalyst that caused her to take a deeper look at why she’s doing what she’s doing and who’s opinion really matters most. Learn how to better express to your spouse when “now is not a good time” or when you should change gears and pay attention to what’s in front of you even when everything else around you is screaming the loudest. My job took me out of my family time, and that caused a hurt for my wife. BUT we talked it out and came to a conclusion that the lessons and principles taught truly work even when you feel like you failed at it.

How to help your spouse approach the unavoidable change in your child(ren) education
Virtual education, distance learning, the playbook. Follow us through the questions we asked each other and our children so we could make the best possible plan of attack for this new adventure that has been thrust upon us once again. We want to make sure that you have the tools you need to ask you wife, children, and maybe even yourself the right questions and how to approach the conversation without overwhelming each other. These are difficult times, but not impossible times. Share the concerns. Shoulder each other’s burdens where you can. Keep talking to your kids and checking in with each other to see how you’re doing individually and as a family unit. Emotions are high. Kids are confused and some are worried about their grades, their friends, and where things will go from here. MAN UP! Let us help you through it.

How to help your spouse approach the unavoidable change in your child(ren) education
Virtual education, distance learning, the pilot. Everyone is facing it. Everyone is feeling the pressures of balancing work, home life, marriage, and now once again…schooling our kids at home. Who’s going to handle the responsibilities of holding them accountable? Who’s going to help them when mom/dad doesn’t know how to do this stuff? How do you balance their computer time for school and their wifi for fun?
Jeanne’s world came crashing down when the schools in our area changed their plans at the last minute, over and over again. Stress came to an all-time high as she became overwhelmed with all of the expectations brought about by the different schools and learning capabilities of the kids. Since last time we were here, my plan wasn’t executed properly and lead to some arguing and hurt feelings, I decided to call an audible and change up the conversation and my approach to helping her AND the children navigate through what she needs, they need, and we as a family will do to get through this unexpected and unconventional time.
