As parents we want to have open, honest communication with our kids. We want them to feel comfortable talking to us, and we want them to listen to what we have to say. And it may not always be obvious that they want that too, but it's true. So why is it that so many teens stop communicating? How can we create good communication early? How can we re-establish communication if it's broken down. And are there things we are doing as parents that are actually getting in the way?
