He involuntarily embarked on a caregiver journey in 2014 when his wife Sally was diagnosed with large B-cell lymphoma in her brain.  At the time, family caregivers were just starting to get noticed as having experienced similar stress as the cancer patient.  From the first day in the hospital, Jim  started journaling his thoughts. Because of their positive experiences, they both wanted to give something back to the community. He is a former radio DJ, newspaper boy,  retail expert in a department store paint section, a men’s clothing shop and record store, a commercial real estate broker, residential home builder, movie critic, IT programmer and project leader;  IT consulting firm owner, home baker,  current owner of Jim Cooper VO, narrating audiobooks of all types.  We cover quite a bit.
