(00:00-15:41) On the Best of The John Kincade Show, John and Bob are back. Connor is in for Pat on the board. John opens talking about the Phillies win over the Padres last night. The Phillies got out to a big lead, but the bullpen let the Padres get too close. Five arms were used out of the bullpen. Going into the postseason, the Phillies will need longer outings from the starters, so the bullpen isn’t so taxed.
(15:54-1:04:39) The show needs to seat their jury for this upcoming season. John, Bob and Connor make their cases for who they think should be on the jury. The guys talk about what it took for the Phillies to get into the playoffs last year. Without a collapse by the Milwaukee Brewers, we might not be singing “Dancing On My Own” late into October. In Cooney’s Corner, Bob talks about the career years by multiple Eagles last year. Should we be worried it won’t be replicated?
