(00:00-29:31)  On today’s best of, Andrew Salciunas and Jamie Lynch fills in for Anthony while he is on vacation in Italy. They kick off the show talking about Juan Soto and the possibility of keeping him in Philadelphia after the Phillies weekend series with the Padres. Andrew feels you cannot let him leave if the Phils sweep or take 3 of 4.  The guys also talks about the greatest Philadelphia Phillies teams of all-time.

(29:36-40:22) Legendary ESPN Baseball Insider Buster Olney joins the show to talk about the Phillies possibilities with the trade deadline looming. He believes the baseball world is sleeping on the Phillies. As far as trades he talks about Nolan Arenado, Shohei Ohtani, Juan Soto and much more!

(40:31-52:31) ESPN anchor Kevin Negandhi joins the show. To piggyback off Andrew and Jamie’s video game conversation, Kevin would like to bring back “Earl Weavers Baseball.”  As far as trade partners or players the Phillies might be interested in, it depends on what the Phillies would have to give up. Andrew asks him about an NBA trade scenario he saw on Twitter.

(00:00-35:46) On today’s best of, Andrew and Jamie are in once again for Anthony. They open the show ranting about a computer password change. When that finished they started talking about the Phillies pitching rotation coming out of the All-Star break. The biggest question they have is how would you explain Philadelphia sports since 2020. This conversation started because on a Reddit post, a Milwaukee sports fan was released from a Russian and had no idea what has happened in the last three years. How would you explain sports in Philly to someone who has completely missed the last couple of years?

(35:56-45:23) Ray cracks open the vault and plays some clips from All-Star Games past. Some are good but some could put you to sleep. You will have to listen to find out.

(45:28-58:25) Phillies reporter for The Athletic Matt Gelb joins the show to talk about the Phillies second half of the season. He discusses possible trades that can be made (including Nolan Arenado rumors), positions of needs and who needs to have a better second half.  Matt also does not like oatmeal cookies.
