Fandom on the Rocks

The halls of McKinley High are ringing with the first notes of a new season of Glee. This week we're talking Season 5, Episode 1, "Love Love Love."  The New Directions are given one of their biggest assignments yet: The Beatles. Mr. Schuester has Nationals in his sights (though maybe not his timetable) and challenges the kids to master the Beatles' catalogue over two weeks.  But one Blaine Anderson has even bigger things on his mind: a proposal that could change everything.

With Rachel's Broadway aspirations hanging in the balance and the Glee Club's chances to become a show choir dynasty closing in, this season is set up to be another chaotic ride through storylines and Glee's enduring quirks.

Welcome to Season 5 of Glee and Glee on the Rocks.  Fearlessly and forever.

The final high notes have been sung, the last dance steps have been taken, and the curtain has fallen on another season of Glee.  Grab your slushie and pull up a chair in the choir room, this week on Glee on the Rocks we're talking 4x22, "All or Nothing."

The Season 4 finale of Glee has arrived and we're here to break down all the show-stopping moments you've come to expect and we find out if our favorite glee club will triumph or fall flat. The New Directions are on the cusp of greatness, but before they can take the stage, they must navigate a minefield of personal challenges and unexpected twists.  Brittany's startling academic revelation, the return of some beloved characters, and the pressure of performance all converge in a finale that's as unpredictable as a classic Sue Sylvester tantrum.

And of course we'll dissect that good ol' Glee dialogue that's so absurd it's genius, the song choices that will have you tapping your feet, and the writing decisions that will leave you scratching your head. It wouldn't be Glee otherwise.

Next up? Season 5. Damn.

This week on Pack Dynamics we're talking S1E12, "Code Breaker."  The full moon has risen on the Season 1 Finale of Teen Wolf and we're here to guide you through every twist and turn.  Our favorite teen wolf Scott McCall is caught in a war between the hunters and the werewolves and must reach out to both friends and adversaries in order to stop the mysterious killings rattling Beacon Hills.

From the cleverly laid breadcrumbs leading us into the next season to the heart-stopping revelations and heel turns, this episode is an emotional rollercoaster for the characters and for us. Because as a season finale, not everyone is going to walk away alive.

And of course we take a moment to look back at the Teen Wolf fandom itself.  We reflect on the passion and dedication of the fans, because it's that community that keeps this show alive so long after the final credits roll.

Thank you for listening to Season 1 of Pack Dynamics. We hope you've enjoyed this foray into our other fandom obsessions and hope to see you soon for Season 2.

This week on Pack Dynamics we're talking S1E11, "Formality." It's time for the Winter Formal at Beacon Hills High. When Scott isn't allowed to attend the dance because of his grades, he forces Jackson to take Allison in his stead in order to protect her. Scott's hidden life as a werewolf comes dangerously close to being revealed to Allison. Between Kate Argent's ongoing manipulations, Peter Hale's menacing presence, and the looming threat to Lydia's life, the stake's have never been higher as we barrel towards the Season 1 finale of Teen Wolf.

Don't forget to revel in the 2011 fashion.

By the way, y'all look really cute today. And we mean, dirty cute.

Meanwhile, in New York City, our beloved Isabelle Wright asks Kurt to volunteer at a Vogue.com charity event.
