Fanfiction Nation

Dungeons & Dragons means: It’s adventuring time! It’s our Dungeons & Dragons episode! Mark has never played Dungeons & Dragons before and for that, he apologizes. To make up for it, Kyle wrote a couple D&D themed fan fics and we give them a read today. We also read a third fic from a special […]

It’s going to be one of those days, isn’t it? Once in a blue moon, Fanfiction Nation decides to step out of its comfort zone to seek out fanfics that make us truly cringe. Whether Kyle and Mark read fanfiction they or somebody else wrote, they set out to read works that are interesting and […]

Riverdale: The Answer You Want This week, Fanfiction Nation heads to Riverdale! First of all, Kyle and Mark are unapologetically huge fanboys of The CW’s new hit series. As a result, they HAD to present this episode. In this episode, they read a real gem from Violet-Amy, who seems to be emerging as THE Archie fanfiction writer to […]

Scooby-Doo and Pitbull too Like wow, Scoob, Fanfiction Nation is taking on Hanna Barbera cartoons this week! Kyle has friends in abnormally high places, so he was able to snatch a copy of a Scooby-Doo TV pilot that was never filmed. It’s a little strange and Mark wonders how legitimate it really is. But they […]

Fanfiction Nation is back with yet another milestone: they have found the most nonsensical fanfiction to date. The author’s name? “Juicydickhugger.” The title of the fanfic? “Close Encounters of the Homersexual Kind.” Simpsons, natch. Is it raunchy? Yes. Is it offensive? Yes. Is it awful? Yes. Is it very funny in its ridiculousness? You decide […]

Kyle and Mark return to Middle Earth with more Lord of the Rings fanfic for all you Hobbits out there. This week they read more fun fanfics from Lucilia. You may recall the hilarious Star Wars answering machine messages she wrote from previous Fanfiction Nation episodes. The first fanfiction focuses on a lonely woman named Frank who wishes for […]

We’re back with more Fanfiction Nation! This week, Kyle and Mark dive into the world of Transformers. This is fanfiction written by Stitchar. It involves Optimus Prime and Jack Darby. Kyle’s theory is that Mark pronounces it “Optimist Prime” during the episode but Mark firmly denies this theory without giving it a moment’s thought. The […]

In this week’s super episode of Fanfiction Nation, Kyle and Mark dig into Superman fanfic written by LexLuthor13, an author we like to think is actually a 13-year-old Lex Luthor writing fanfiction in his parents’ basement. The fanfic centers around all the DC super villains (Legion of Doom)-including Gorilla Grodd!- conspiring to kill Superman, Batman and […]

Is this episode late? Technically, yes. But take comfort knowing that Fanfiction Nation purposely recorded this Oscars special before the actual telecast with the intention of publishing it after the fact. As you’ll see this episode, Kyle and Mark make NO effort to know anything about the Oscars this year. Since he didn’t follow any of […]

Here’s the LONG (OK just 48 hours) awaited Part 2 of the Star Wars Voicemailathon. Kyle and Mark share more funny fanfic from guest author Lucillia. Part 2’s episode explores the voicemail inboxes of Star Wars mainstays C3PO and R2-D2, Han Solo and Jango Fett. As with Part 1, this is one of our personal […]
