On this episode of Fanning the Flames, we do a deep dive into Robert Sarver announcing that he intends to sell the Phoenix Suns. We discuss our reactions and the reactions from people across the NBA. And we even get exclusive comments from Donald Trump (yes... you read that right).

In addition, Jake Braunger (@FallenFounder) joins us as we dive into:

Sarver issuing one of the most egotistical and tone deaf public statements ever made in the history of mankind;

The logic behind Sarver's statement;

Why Adam Silver's press conference was actually a stroke of genius;

Who the future owner of the Suns might be; and

What other offseason moves may be in store

We wanted to take some time to share our thoughts on the Sarver Saga. Retelling what led to the recent findings, and sharing our thoughts on the conclusion of the investigation. We hope you'll give it a listen, and feel free to share your thoughts on our Twitter, @TheValleyPHX.

We've been away for a bit, but the release of the Sarver Report certainly warrants a return. We dive into the report with our boy Gavin Sporle (@GuessworkGav) from the Aussie Suns Fans Podcast (@AussieSunsFans), as we discuss:

Immediate reactions to the report;

How the facts outlined in the report resulted in Adam Silver's punishment decision;

The likelihood of the minority owners pushing Robert Sarver out;

Various oddities in the Sarver Report, including the NBA having know of him using the N-work as of at least 2016; and

What kind of impact the Sarver Report may have on the team.

Although we are fully-entrenched in the doldrums of the NBA offseason, that does not mean there's nothing to talk about, right? Well, we'll find something, at least.

On this episode of Fanning the Flames, we continue down the Suns' offseason as we discuss:

The Suns' new City Edition jerseys for next season (or at least what we think they'll look like);

New two-way signee Duane Washington, Jr., and the return of Ish Wainright;

Jae Crowder's tweet;

Whether Cameron Johnson or Jae should start at the 4 if the Suns run it back; and

Reports of a meeting planned between Kevin Durant and Nets owner, Joe Tsai.

We also play a fun game called, "what would you do for multiple Suns championships?" and I will just say that no one can ever question Dan's devotion to the team.

Deandre Ayton is a Phoenix Sun for at least 4 more years... we think? We dedicated an entire episode to talk all things DA. The contract, the money, the aftermath, the whole ordeal, and what we think may happen with that contract in the future.

The Indiana Pacers actually signed Deandre Ayton to an offer sheet and the Phoenix Suns matched it immediately (like... literally).

Yes, this is a good thing. No, this does not mean that a trade for Kevin Durant is dead. And we discuss why on this week's Fanning the Flames.

In addition, we get into:

Why the Suns matched the Pacers' offer sheet so quickly;

The Suns facing a luxury tax bill for next season;

What the Suns saved (and DA lost) by a 4-year extension not getting done last offseason; and

Whether we think Ayton is actually in the team's long-term plans.
