Fantasy Throwdown Podcast

Only in a joke of a division that was the NFC East in 2020 could we have an NFL coach decide in the middle of a game that the 3rd string QB needed to get some snaps was part of the gameplan. Tanking has been part of the NFL for years and I explain why it is nothing new and the handwringing over this needs to stop. Plus I take a look at the upcoming Wild Card playoffs next week.

It is Week 17 and we have an absolute mess of a slate. I try to make sense of it but this is not for the faint of heart.

Today should be focused on the rest of the NBA kickstarting the season and the James Harden/Rockets situation has upended everything. We have a possible postponement on the way over outbreak concerns. This is a fluid situation and obvious mess and still does not cover the nonsense that is James Harden's plan to get himself traded.

I break down the latest Cowboys debacle with my dad and Cam as Dallas completely implodes at home against Washington as Zeke and the Cowboys offensive line failed spectacularly as discussed earlier today as a possibility.

This slate was already bad with the Steelers-Ravens postponement but now with Swift being out just after this episode recorded only highlights the need to fade Zeke if only to avoid copying every other lineup out there today. The same goes for Showdown today. Have fun and if you get beat so be it today. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

We have finally arrived at the point in the season where the chalk converges on a play that makes too much sense but I have to explain why Taysom Hill works from a DFS perspective but not necessarily as a season-long fantasy play today. Plus I go over the spread and game picks today.
