From the publisher's feed
Thirty years ago, Police Commissary Mifroid investigated a series of peculiar events at the Palais Garnier. Now, coincidence has brought his daughter, journalist Madeleine Mifroid, back to the…
opera. When a skeleton is unearthed in the opera basement, Madeleine discovers a lead her father never had: the Phantom of the Opera may have actually existed. Just not as a supernatural entity.
Were the mysterious deaths at the Palais Garnier coincidences? Evidence of managerial incompetence? Or the collateral damage of a violent man and his dangerous obsession with a lonely young woman? And can Madeleine finally find the closure her father never got?
