  • 98: Lockdown diaries, The eating face-mask
It’s lockdown 4.0 whatever that means, the lads are still on Ignorance 1.0 and there’s plenty of it this week. A quick round up of hyper-local news, some might say building gossip is followed by a remarkable invention by an Israeli individual that allows you to eat while wearing a mask. So many questions, right? Well lucky you, this episode has it all covered.

  • 97: Lockdown diaries, Ramayan-Mahabharat rerun woes
We’ve lost track of how long it’s been since the lockdown began, but there is never a dull moment. The stories keep coming, and the news keeps getting more interesting. This week, catch the lads as they dissect the peculiar case of kids blinding themselves with bows and arrows. Inspired by the epic shows on DD, parents are rushing kids to hospitals and doctors are saying, “We’ve seen this before, it’s a rerun.” But first, they must tell you a quick story about adrak. Enjoy!

  • 95: Lockdown diaries, Convicts tracked by Google maps
It’s week five of the lockdown boys and girls. The lads are back with another long-distance episode of some notes from their personal lives and a Covid-19 related news story. Taking centre stage this week is the story of a Delhi court that ordered 3 convicts of 3 separate cases to stay at home and make a video call to their investigating officer. They were also asked to share their location pin via Google maps, in what appears to be a world-first to control overcrowding in prisons during an epidemic. Interesting.

  • 94: Lockdown stories, Corona mithai
It’s week four of lockdown and the lads are back with some notes from their personal lives. Followed quickly by a heartwarming story of a sweetshop in Kolkata that is making sandesh in the shape of the coronavirus and calling it corona sandesh. Their objective is to create awareness, but also to get more people to buy sweets. The lads feel this lesser-represented food category needs a little help, so they put their wits together to help them keep their businesses going. But not for long, before one of their trademark solutions makes it way to the surface. Caution: Contains graphic images.

  • 92: Lockdown stories, Aarogya setu app
It’s week three of the lockdown and PM Modi just extended the lockdown to 3rd May this morning. Part of the announcement was also a push to download the Aarogya Setu app. The app uses GPS and Bluetooth in an encrypted manner to speed up contract tracing and identify potential infected individuals and puts technology to use where humans fail to trace back their steps. The lads are mighty impressed with this initiative, in fact they are so proud of the app, that they spend all their time figuring out ways to get more people to install the app on their phones. This is a long one, sit back and enjoy.

  • 91: Lockdown stories, Bronx tiger
It’s week two of lockdown and the lads are in no mood to slowdown. Catch them talk about their personal kitchen stories, ideas for the quarantine and Husein’s self-sufficient kitchen garden. Next they jump into the tiger’s den all the way in NYC, where an animal handler has managed to infect a tiger at the Bronx zoo. They want what’s best for the animals, ‘cos we have no business messing it up for them as well. No humans were hurt in the making of this episode.
