Jacky Goliath started growing fynbos plants in her backyard. Today she is the CEO of De Fynne Nursery outside Paarl in South Africa, an enterprise that has not only grown in size, but also diversified over time. In this edition of Farmer’s Inside Track she speaks candidly about the difficulties of being a successful black female farmer in a male-dominated agriculture sector.
She also shares secrets on the importance of finding the right business partner, managing your cash flow for rainy days and why entrepreneurship is not possible without faith. The interviewers are Dawn Noemdoe and Kobus Louwrens from Food For Mzansi.
