On Monday, Donald Trump sent out a post on Truth Social that legal experts say is clear witness tampering. In the post, Trump said that he has heard that a Republican official in Georgia will be testifying to the grand jury, and he then said that the official should NOT do this because he barely knows Trump. Georgia actually has a law on the books stating that criminal defendants should be kept behind bars to prevent witness tampering.

Also, CNN released a bombshell report showing that Georgia prosecutors have text messages that directly tie Donald Trump's legal team to the plot to steal voting machine data in Coffee County, Georgia. After Trump learned about this, he went on Truth Social and had a complete meltdown over the fact that he's basically screwed at this point. There doesn't appear to be a way for Trump to escape, but then again we've all thought that before.

And according to a new report from Rolling Stone, multiple allies of Donald Trump have confirmed that they have thrown Sidney Powell under the bus to special counsel Jack Smith, with some admitting that they've turned over evidence against her to prosecutors. Powell is already neck deep in the Georgia scandal, and she could also end up getting an indictment from the DOJ before this is all over.

And finally, Judge Tanya Chutkan agreed to not place sanctions on Donald Trump during a hearing last Friday, but made it clear that she'd be watching what he says and could alter the trial schedule based on his comments. It is no surprise then that Trump spent the entire weekend trashing this judge on his Truth Social platform, trying to paint her as a biased hack instead of a respected and fair judge. This will come back to bite Trump worse than he thinks.

A dejected Sean Hannity admitted during his Fox News program last week that the Republican Party might actually be getting too extreme. But he wasn't fully willing to embrace that reality, he's just sad that Ohio voters overwhelmingly rejected a Republican proposal that would have made it harder to enshrine abortion rights in the state's constitution. Hannity seems to finally understand that this is a losing issue for Republicans.

Also, Republican Senator Tommy Tuberville from Alabama is now facing allegations that he's actually just a "carpetbagger" due to the fact that records show he owns multiple properties in Florida. In fact, in 2017 he admitted on social media that he was moving permanently to Florida, and his current address is listed at a Florida residence. If that is his LEGAL residence, he would be disqualified from serving as a Senator from Alabama.

And finally, Donald Trump's lawyer John Lauro has been out and about all over the media in the last week, and special prosecutor Jack Smith has taken notice. In a court filing at the end of the week, Smith actually cited Lauro's media appearances (where he outlines the Trump defense strategy) as proof that the trial can proceed at an early date - Beginning right after the New Year kicks off in January. Trump's lawyers, like Trump himself, need to learn that sometimes it pays to keep your mouth shut.

 Donald Trump suffered a serious meltdown on Truth Social this past week, ranting like a lunatic about President Biden sending this country "TO HELL!" Trump also claimed that he believes that Biden is "bonkers" and "has gone mad," both statements that appear to better describe Trump than they do the current president. But Trump is trying desperately to deflect from the fact he's about to be indicted again - and the fact that Biden is still leading in the polls. 

Also, Donald Trump's campaign has been running ads attacking Fulton County prosecutor Fani Willis in Atlanta and other areas for the past week. The ads have also attacked the other prosecutors that are going after him. He is using campaign money to shift public opinion about his indictments and prosecutions, and that might not be 100% legal. Furthermore, these attack ads are only going to lead to gag orders and possible contempt charges.

Trump adviser Boris Epshteyn has been accused of groping multiple women in a nightclub in Arizona, and he was arrested for these offenses, eventually pleading guilty to one count. But these events happened years ago, and are only just now becoming public, in spite of the major role that Epshteyn has played in Trump's schemes and legal battles in recent years.

Also, another new report has come out showing the country just how incompetent Judge Aileen Cannon really is. Cannon is overseeing Trump's document trial, but it now looks like the DOJ has solid ground to request a new judge. The new report says that Cannon recently gave the jury instructions that DID NOT include the option to find a defendant NOT GUILTY, which will likely lead to the guilty verdict being thrown out. The Trump case is too important to go before such incompetence.

During a townhall event this week, Marjorie Taylor Greene laughed at an idea shouted out by an audience member to give the death penalty to Democrats and basically anyone that doesn't agree with the MAGA ideology. This began when one attendee suggested that Democrats should be tried for treason, although the man couldn't provide any reasons why these prosecutions should happen. But it was Greene's laughter at the idea of executions that really stole the show.

Also, a veteran FBI counterintelligence official has come forward with shocking allegations about the politicization of the Department of Justice - except it isn't the weaponization of the government that Republicans wanted to find. The whistleblower claims that his superiors ordered him to STOP investigating Trump's allies, including Rudy Giuliani, during the Trump administration.

And finally, Donald Trump's newest lawyer, John Lauro, has not done him any favors with his recent string of media appearances. But now legal experts are saying that the media appearances aren't just bad for Trump's case - they may actually be illegal! The District of Columbia where the Trump trial is being held has very strict rules about what lawyers are allowed to say in the media, and experts believe that Laruro's statements clearly violated those laws.

During a speech in New Hampshire on Tuesday, Donald Trump viciously slandered Fulton County district attorney Fani Willis by claiming, without any evidence, that Willis had an affair with a "gang member." It isn't a coincidence that Trump is trying to link "gang" activity to a black prosecutor, but that isn't going to stop what's coming for him in terms of indictments.

Also, Matt Gaetz unveiled a new plan to give Donald Trump immunity from prosecution. Gaetz said that he could call Donald Trump to testify in front of Congress as a witness against the government, and then he'd be protected as a whistleblower and wouldn't be able to be prosecuted. But even Gaetz thinks his plan won't work, but that didn't stop him from spitting it out during an interview with Charlie Kirk this week. 

And finally, during his rally in New Hampshire this week, Donald Trump told the audience that he isn't going to be silenced by the judge overseeing the case against him, and that he'll continue talking about the case and everyone involved. In short, Trump promised to continue violating the very court order that he signed and swore he wouldn't violate. This isn't going to bode well for him when his lawyers have to face a judge on Friday.

Judge Aileen Cannon might have made an error so egregious in a ruling on Monday that the Department of Justice may have clear grounds to call for her recusal from the case. The judge decided to reveal the existence of a second grand jury that was still conducting investigations into the documents scandal, even though the DOJ had filed this information, along with other intelligence, under seal - but Cannon made it all public anyway.

Also, MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell doesn't appear to think before he speaks, and that could get his good friend Donald Trump into trouble. Lindell suggested this week that Donald Trump will end up getting more votes in the 2024 election than there are people, which could only be done by way of fraud. But that's what Lindell says will happen if Trump keeps getting indicted because Lindell swears that Trump's popularity is going through the roof. 

And finally, Donald Trump is reportedly angry at his newest lawyer, John Lauro, because Lauro isn't going along with Trump's plan to get judge Tanya Chutkan removed from his trial. Lauro has been going across the media world making Trump's problems worse by accidentally "admitting" to some crimes and offering a weak defense of others, but that doesn't seem to bother the former President. What bothers Trump is that Lauro will not make a preemptive motion to remove the judge - a move Lauro knows will fail. This showdown could lead to problems for Trump.

Donald Trump spent his evening on Sunday attacking his former Vice President, Mike Pence, over Pence's recent statement about being willing to testify against Trump, if he is called to do so. Trump had an absolute meltdown and attacked the former VP, even though he has been expressly forbidden by the courts from attacking potential witnesses. 

Also, Mitch McConnell experienced something over the weekend that he's never experienced before: A crowd of his supporters heckling him during a speech. Following his recent malfunction during a press conference - and all of the revelations about his poor health that followed - McConnell was met with a chorus of people chanting "retire" as he tried to deliver a simple speech on friendly grounds. This is not a good sign for the aging Senator.

And finally, Donald Trump's newest lawyer John Lauro is proving to be just as bad as the rest of his legal team. Over the weekend, Lauro decided to make the rounds of the Sunday morning talk shows where he continued to admit that Trump DID do the things he's been indicted for, but insisted the context of everything was wrong. This is not a stellar legal defense at all - in fact, it isn't a DEFENSE at all - and his lawyer is doing more harm than good at this point.

During his arraignment this past Thursday, Donald Trump managed to screw up his own name and age while talking to the judge. When asked his age, Trump replied that he was "Seven Seven" before having to correct himself and say "Seventy Seven" and he had to correct his own middle name after only giving an initial. This may seem small, but when you consider the fact that this report came from a British outlet you begin to get a sense of how the rest of the world views our country.

Also, during a podcast interview at the end of last week, Marjorie Taylor Greene encouraged Republicans to ignore reality and instead put their faith in God to protect Donald Trump. She said that conservatives needed to stop paying attention to headlines and legal filings, and instead trust that God has a plan for their cult leader. If you're a person who believes in God, it kind of seems like his plan is already in motion.

And finally, there are countless individuals who informed Donald Trump that he lost the 2020 election in spite of his claims of fraud, and many of them are likely to be called as witnesses for his trial next year. And there are at least TEN Republicans - administration officials, state leaders, and Trump's own campaign advisers - who are on record as having told him that he didn't win and there was no fraud. This will be crucial for the prosecution in order to debunk Trump's legal defense.

Republican Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy filed a suit against the Department of Justice this week, seeking all of the information from the Department's investigation, and eventual indictments, against Donald Trump. The information cannot be released in full because it contains information about witnesses that is not allowed to be made public at this time, but Ramaswamy's goal isn't to get the information released - he has other plans with this suit.

Also, Donald Trump had pleaded with Republicans in Congress to save him from prosecutions nearly two weeks, and after they failed to do anything about it, he is now calling on a higher power. Shortly after his arraignment, Trump took to Truth Social to beg the US Supreme Court to step in and stop the prosecutions because, according to him, it amounts to "election interference." But he has no chance of stopping it, as the investigations ALL began before he ran for president.
