  • Hiveopenmic week 304// cover of I'm pressing on
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=fasacity/kmksyruu
    This is hiveopenmic week 304 where the theme says movement. This entails change in position of an object from one point to another. Every human being desires a change of levels. Movement is one of the major characteristics of a human. Any human being that does move will easily be bored and get stocked in the course of life pursuit. The year has just begun and there are lots of challenges on the way to retard one from pressing and making advancement. My hope is in Christ Jesus alone to push till the final end.
    For this particular edition I decided to render a hymn that I feel it synchronize with the theme movement. I pray you'll enjoy just like me here. Come let's sing the song together as we press on.
    ### lyrics
    I’m pressing on the upward way,
    New heights I’m gaining every day;
    Still praying as I onward bound,
    “Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.”
    Lord, lift me up, and let me stand
    By faith on Canaan’s tableland;
    A higher plane than I have found,
    Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.
    2
    My heart has no desire to stay
    Where doubts arise and fears dismay;
    Though some may dwell where these abound,
    My prayer, my aim, is higher ground.
    3
    I want to live above the world,
    Though Satan’s darts at me are hurled;
    For faith has caught the joyful sound,
    The song of saints on higher ground.

  • Hiveopenmic week 303// A cover of Jesus loves me
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=fasacity/lzgcaxof
    Welcome to Hive Open Mic Week 303, and here is my entry for this edition. The theme for this week is children, and it reminds me strongly of what the Bible teaches about them. Recently, during our family devotion, we focused on children as a special gift from God. The Bible says that children are a heritage from the Lord, and blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. This shows that children are not a burden but a blessing.
    Children represent hope, joy, and the future. They come with innocence, love, and the ability to trust easily. God uses children to teach adults humility, faith, and dependence on Him. When we care for children, guide them, and teach them in the ways of the Lord, we are investing in a better tomorrow. Every child has value, purpose, and destiny given by God. Therefore, children should be loved, protected, and nurtured, because through them, God’s plans for the future continue.Jesus loves the little children.
    #### lyrics
    1 Jesus loves me, this I know,
    for the Bible tells me so.
    Little ones to him belong;
    they are weak, but he is strong.
    Refrain:
    Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me!
    Yes, Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so.
    2 Jesus loves me he who died
    heaven's gate to open wide.
    He will wash away my sin,
    let his little child come in. [Refrain]
    3 Jesus loves me, this I know,
    as he loved so long ago,
    taking children on his knee,
    saying, "Let them come to me." [Refrain]

  • Hive open mic week 302// A cover of Give thanks
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=fasacity/fjlhbqrq
    Welcome to hiveopenmic week 302. This is my entry for the theme which says Good luck. Our luck is tied to the kind or way we appreciate God for all He has been doing in our lives. Thanksgiving is very important because it makes God to do more to us beyond what words could say.
    I chose this song because it reminds me of how God has been faithful for releasing his only son to die for me. The weak have boldness to call His name and he saved. The curtains and what stands as barrier has been cut off. Now I can thank Him for all he has done.
    It's good to give God thanks for the new year and all He's about to do in our lives.
    The composer of this song is Don Moen. He has been a consistent gospel singer and mentor that has raised lots of people across Europe and even Nigeria here. I am one of his favorite fan. I hope you will enjoy this entry. You can join me sing.
    Thanks
    ### lyrics
    Give thanks with a grateful heart
    Give thanks unto the Holy One
    Give thanks because He's given Jesus Christ, His Son (repeat)
    And now let the weak say, 'I am strong'
    Let the poor say, 'I am rich
    Because of what the Lord has done for us' (repeat)

  • Afritunes week 201// A cover of Daga Rafin Rai by @fasacity
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=fasacity/oxxcpzyf
    Afritunes week 201 and this is my entry for this edition.Its a cover of a song that I love too much. It easily gets me focused especially when it comes to the issue of prayers. The song was originally rendered in Hausa language that is the chorus which forms the true meaning of the song.
    Bro Anthony has been a consistent and wonderful gospel music personnel that started singing since 2001. I like his passion and how he sings and attacks songs. That's not all, the words or lyrics each song Carries is something amazing. I got to realize recently that he is into voice training and coaching. This places him on a high pedestrian to unleash the potential of God over his life.
    About the song, it depicts that Jesus is the river of life, healing etc. no one comes to him and remain unsaved or unchanged. There is a river and streams that flows, it brings deliverance. Come and drink from the river of life who is Jesus.
    Here is the lyrics;
    Fire flows from the River
    Grace flows from the River
    Anointing flows from the River
    Power flows from the River
    l wanna drink from you
    l wanna drink from you
    E na so insha
    Da ga Rafin rai 4x
    Chorus
    Da ga Rafin rai Ina so insha
    3x

  • Hiveopenmic week 300// Thank you Jesus Original by fasacity
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=fasacity/sakjklqo
    Happy new year to everyone and welcome to hiveopenmic week 300. This is a special one for me because it gives me the opportunity to share my own perspective. It comes with a unique entry number and theme which focuses on the original song.
    To make my entry count, I came up with this beautiful song of thanksgiving that I was able to compose and wrote down. Even though it needs some musical touches to refine and fine tune. I believe with time it could go higher.
    I did it with a simple local instrument and I hope you will enjoy it.
    ### lyrics
    I look upon the hills
    Where will my help come from,
    My help comes from the Lord,
    The maker of heaven and earth,
    In him I live and have my being...
    ### Chorus
    Thank you...for everything you have done,
    I just wanna say thank you Lord,
    Thank you, for everything you've done,
    I just wanna say thank you.
    For great things you have done,
    I've come to say thank you Lord,
    For the life,shelter you gave to me,
    The children and the family,
    For everything you have done ...
    I've come to say thank you.
    Back to chorus;
    Thank you...for everything you have done,
    I just wanna say thank you Lord,
    Thank you, for everything you've done,
    I just wanna say thank you.

  • Afritunes week 199// cover of Adonai by @fasacity
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=fasacity/hdkzabgr
    Happy new year to everyone on this special day and trust that you had a successful triumph into 2026. I deliberately did this entry today in order to enable me celebrate the grace of God upon my life and that of my family. Despite the tunnel and turbulence of life yet God preserved us and kept us. I want to appreciate him for all he has been doing in my family.
    This is afritune week 199 entry and I came up with a cover of one of my favorite songs titled Adonai. It was originally rendered and composed by Nathaniel Bassey. He's a pastor and I have been a serious follower of him. His songs normally challenge me to pray and seek the face of God more. As for the song Adonai, it means my lord in Hebrew. As I begin my new year, the Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want for anything in life.
    #### lyrics
    From the rising of the sun
    To the setting of the same
    Your name is to be hallowed
    Ah ah, Adonai
    From the rising of the sun
    To the setting of the same
    Your name is to be hallowed
    Ah ah, Adonai
    From the rising of the sun
    To the setting of the same
    Your name is to be hallowed
    Ah ah, Adonai
    Ah ah, Adonai
    Ah ah, Adonai
    Ah ah, Adonai
    Ah ah, Adonai

  • Hiveopenmic week 299// cover of hark the herald sing by @fasacity
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=fasacity/lkrxbqej
    Hiveopenmic week 299// cover of a hymn hark the angels sing. Compliment of the season to everyone out there especially all of us the participants. As we look forward to 2026, God will help us. This synchronized with the theme that says epiphany. The theme simple means the time Jesus was revealed to the wise men. It's normally sang on 6 January. Epiphany grants one the opportunity to know who Jesus is. It's a common hymn that was sang by different musicians across the globe. I was touched by the song and that's what triggered me to choose it. I'm highly optimistic that the song will bless you just as I am already blessed. I hope you will enjoy for it also..
    Verse 1
    Hark! The herald angels sing,
    "Glory to the newborn King;
    Peace on earth, and mercy mild,
    God and sinners reconciled!"
    Joyful, all ye nations rise,
    Join the triumph of the skies;
    With th'angelic host proclaim,
    "Christ is born in Bethlehem!"
    Hark! the herald angels sing,
    "Glory to the newborn King!"
    Verse 2
    Christ, by highest Heav'n adored;
    Christ the everlasting Lord;
    Late in time, behold Him come,
    Offspring of a virgin's womb.
    Veiled in flesh the Godhead see;
    Hail th'incarnate Deity,
    Pleased as man with men to dwell,
    Jesus our Emmanuel.
    Hark! the herald angels sing,
    "Glory to the newborn King!"
    Verse 3
    Hail the heav'nly Prince of Peace!
    Hail the Sun of Righteousness!
    Light and life to all He brings,
    Ris'n with healing in His wings.
    Mild He lays His glory by,
    Born that man no more may die.
    Born to raise the sons of earth,
    Born to give them second birth.
    Hark! the herald angels sing,
    "Glory to the newborn King!"

  • Hiveopenmic week 298// cover of a hymn silent night by @fasacity
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=fasacity/vlzvovml
    Hive Open mic week 298 comes with another interesting package which centers on Christmas. I decided to do a cover of silent night.
    Silent Night is a beloved and timeless Christmas carol that has touched hearts for generations. In this special rendition, it is beautifully sung by our Love to Sing Choir, whose rich harmonies and gentle voices bring the true spirit of Christmas to life. The song reminds us of the calm, holy night when Jesus Christ was born, bringing peace, hope, and salvation to the world.
    This performance is perfect for Christmas concerts, church services, special presentations, and even quiet moments of worship at home. As the familiar melody flows, it creates an atmosphere of warmth, reflection, and gratitude, drawing listeners closer to the meaning of the season. Silent Night is more than just a song—it is a message of love, faith, and God’s great gift to humanity.
    May this Christmas music fill your heart with joy, peace, and renewed hope as you celebrate with family, friends, and loved ones. We pray that the beauty of this carol blesses you and reminds you of God’s unfailing love. Merry Christmas and a joyful celebration to you all!
    #### lyrics
    Silent night, holy night
    All is calm, all is bright
    Round yon Virgin Mother and Child
    Holy infant so tender and mild
    Sleep in heavenly peace
    Sleep in heavenly peace
    Silent night, holy night
    Shepherds quake at the sight
    Glories stream from heaven afar
    Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia
    Christ, the Saviour is born
    Christ, the Saviour is born
    Silent night, holy night
    Son of God, love’s pure light
    Radiant beams from Thy holy face
    With the dawn of redeeming grace
    Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth
    Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth
    Silent night, holy night
    All is calm, all is bright
    Round yon Virgin Mother and Child
    Holy infant so tender and mild
    Sleep in heavenly peace
    Sleep in heavenly peace.

  • Hiveopenmic week 297// A cover of in Christ alone by fasacity
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=fasacity/yqqpmtyc
    For Hive Open Mic Week 297, with the theme “Call Me,” I decided to do a cover of one of my favorite hymns. This song is very special to me because it was sung during my wedding, and it carries deep meaning in my life. It reminds me of the day I truly heard the call of Jesus Christ and chose to lay all my confidence in Him alone.
    In Christ, I have placed my trust, my hope, and my future. No matter what comes my way, this song keeps my faith alive because it reminds me that Jesus never fails. He is constant, faithful, and always present, even in difficult times. Whenever I sing or listen to this hymn, my heart is strengthened and my spirit is lifted.
    In times like these, it is important for everyone to define who they are and hold firmly to their faith. For me, holding on to Jesus gives me peace and direction. This hymn has been covered by many amazing musicians over the years, but I chose to render it in my own simple and heartfelt way, expressing my personal journey and belief.
    I truly hope you enjoy this cover and that it blesses you as much as it blesses me. Thank you for listening, and once again, Merry Christmas to you all. 🎄✨
    #### lyrics
    In Christ alone my hope is found;
    He is my light, my strength, my song;
    This cornerstone, this solid ground,
    Firm through the fiercest drought and storm.
    What heights of love, what depths of peace,
    When fears are stilled, when strivings cease!
    My comforter, my all in all--
    Here in the love of Christ I stand.
    In Christ alone, Who took on flesh,
    Fullness of God in helpless babe!
    This gift of love and righteousness,
    Scorned by the ones He came to save.
    Till on that cross as Jesus died,
    The wrath of God was satisfied;
    For ev’ry sin on Him was laid--
    Here in the death of Christ I live.
    There in the ground His body lay,
    Light of the world by darkness slain;
    Then bursting forth in glorious day,
    Up from the grave He rose again!
    And as He stands in victory,
    Sin’s curse has lost its grip on me;
    For I am His and He is mine--
    Bought with the precious blood of Christ.

  • Afritune week 196// A cover of jani kusa by @fasacity
    https://3speak.tv/watch?v=fasacity/ycfdhvye
    This is my entry for week 196. I decided to do a cover of jani kusa by Abel Namadi.
    Abel Namadi is from Southern Kaduna in Nigeria, but he was born in Yola, Adamawa State. He has a first degree in Psychology from Nasarawa State University, Keffi. He is a music director and a vocal coach. He loves learning and has a humble, teachable spirit. He is a man of integrity and strong principles, with a deep understanding of the power of prayer and living rightly with God.
    His song “Jani Kusa (Draw Me Close)”, released in 2023, is a song of intimacy inspired by a strong desire to stay in constant fellowship with the Holy Spirit. The song has brought many testimonies and continues to bless lives. This is one of my favorite songs that I love singing and listening to over and over again. It inspires and motivates me.
    Abel Namadi believes fully in God’s ability to raise a generation of young people to spread the gospel. He is a man of prayer, and he has successfully passed on that same burning passion to many who have encountered him.
