Welcome to Hive open mic week 284. Special thanks to the management crew for their efforts in sustaining this platform. For this entry, i came up with a cover of one of the oldest songs that was rendered since when were in Sunday school. It has really ministered to me on several occasion.

The theme for this edition says come back. To me is like a prayer to come back to Christ Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith.

I decided to do a cover of i have decided to follow Jesus, no going or turning back because my mind is made up. Hiveopenmic week 283 and the theme says the darkness. I want to sincerely appreciate all the entire management for their love and kind support in ensuring smooth of engagement on this platform.

For this edition, I decided to do a cover of a powerful song that synchronize with the theme. This song was sang by different music ministers.

Darkness could mean different thing to different people. Darkness represents bad things, fear, ugly experiences, unpleasant situation where people are under bondages or siege. I pray that whatever that looks like darkness in our lives will give way so that the light will come and radiate over everything.

Special thanks to all the management crew of this prestigious community. When I saw the theme for this edition drawing. At the initial look at the theme I was thinking it means to come close to something not until I looked at it for several times before the true meaning jumped into my spirit.

Drawing is an act of creating something, writing something, carving something either through painting or pencil drawing. I decided to do a song from Michael Smith which says draw me close to you. The song really paints how Jesus can be so close to somebody who cries to him for help or deeper relationship with Him. Anytime I listened to Michael Smith it stirs my emotions and feelings towards loving God more than ever. He has been a consistent Christian music minister that I can't resist from hearing.

Hiveopenmic week 276 comes with another amazing theme called healing. Special thanks to all the management crew of this prestigious community for their efforts consistently engaging the potential of musical inclined individuals. It's been awesome and A rare privilege to participate.

A lot of thought kept resonating in my heart when I saw the theme. It's such a a theme that I longed to see and I must say it's timely for me. As humans, we've been confronted with lots of challenges and issues that requires God's intervention. There are different areas of our lives that needs God's healing touch. It could be physical healing, spiritual healing, emotional healing, financial or other forms of healing.

The song I chose was sang by one of the renowned father I respect so much in music industry called Don Moen. He has been a faithful gospel singer,composer etc. This song is a reality and I have heard of varied testimonies of God's healing power and I did an a capella hoping you would like it.

It's another lovely time and I am excited to share my entry for hiveopenmic week 274. The theme is mermaid. Special thanks to the management and the chosen artist for this edition.

>According to Merriam-Webster dictionary defines mermaid as a fabled marine creature with the head and upper body of a woman and the tail of a fish.

Truly I was confused and lack what to sing initially but after a tough thinking moment I had to define this based on my understanding and Since mermaid entails a creature that is aquatic animal with both human and fishlike structure. This can be scary to me therefore I need a place where I can hide myself. I saw this song as a response to the scary situation of this kind of creature, I need a shield and a rock that I can hide myself.

This Song ministers lot to me. I decided to do this cover and hope you'll enjoy it.

It's a wonderful thing to be part of this community. I have been wanting to drop my first post since last year but all efforts proved abortive. Thank God I'm at it now. Special thanks to @mattsanthonyit for initiating this community. God bless you sir.

For this entry, I would share briefly my journey of coconut farming in my little garden.

I don't need to neglect the days of little beginnings. Everything has a starting point in life. It might look little and discouraging but stand firm and do it. Nothing good comes easy.

I started it like a joke. From the onset I like coconut because of the nutritional value it gives to the human body system like the fiber, it also aid digestion. The importance of coconut can't be overemphasized.

It also helps in men reproductive activity.

I looked for an empty sack, filled it with sang to a level. I ensure that the sand is loamy to ensure it contains reasonable amount of fertilizer. Then the coconut seed was given to me by my mother-in-law who encouraged and instructed me on how to plant it.

After some months the seed germinate and behold what I have now. Intend to transplant it to a bigger place and plant it. Coconut is good and you mustn't have large piece. You can start with the little space you have.

I decided to bring forth a worship medley of three different languages. I have never attempted such dimension of performance. When I saw the theme, I initially wanted to start a Christmas bell song but after a deep reflection, I realized that bell could signify lots of things.

A bell could be praises showered on someone for the good deeds experienced. In this case, my praises goes to God. I'm ringing this bell to God for the wonderful things he has done and for many other things he's set to do. I can't just thank him enough. The month hasn't been easy but God has been faithful. Mountain could signify a lot of things in the life of any individual. Mountain could be seen as an obstacle, hindrance. Mountain could be seen as a difficult moment or season of one's life. Everyone of us could have a mountain experience but we shouldn't stay there.
