  • Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2, Nokia Event & RIP LG | Fast Charge ep. 60

It's been a sad week in the phone world, as LG officially bows out of the business, but before that we have new phones from Lenovo and Nokia to worry about.

The Legion Phone Duel 2 is Lenovo's second-gen eccentric gaming phone, with twin batteries and the side-mounted selfie camera now joined by an RGB panel on the phone's rear. Should Asus be running scared?

Meanwhile Nokia has launched a selection of six brand-new phones amid a massive revamp of its phone branding that drops the decimals and introduces C, G, and X ranges - alongside its own new mobile network.

Finally, we'll pour one out for poor old LG - and the Rollable phone we're now never going to see. Join us in the chat to let us know your favourite LG handsets and cover some of the company's massive innovations - while we wonder what this means for the rest of the industry.

  • Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold, Mi 11 series & Vivo X60 Pro/Pro+ | Fast Charge ep. 59

This week was all about Xiaomi, with the company unveiling too many products to count at its two-part Mega Launch - but we're most excited by the Mi Mix Fold and Mi 11 Ultra, of course.

The Mi Mix Fold is Xiaomi's first foray into foldables. It packs a familiar design, but with Xiaomi's own spin on the specs and a price that undercuts both Huawei and Samsung - shame it's only launching in China.

The new members of the Mi 11 series will go global though, with the Mi 11i, Mi 11 Lite, Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra all here. Here's what to expect from all four, especially the new super flagship Ultra phone.

Finally, as promised, we're revisiting the Vivo X60 series as Dom gives his reviews of the X60 Pro and X60 Pro+. Has Vivo come from behind to produce some of the best flagships of the year, or is it still playing catch-up?

  • OnePlus 9, Realme 8 and Poco F3 & X3 Pro | Fast Charge ep. 58

The OnePlus 9 series is finally here - so why aren't Dom and Chris very impressed? They're joined by the Realme 8 and Poco F3 & X3 Pro in a very busy week for phone launches - so busy we don't even have time for the Moto G100 or Vivo X60!

First up, we've reviewed the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, but we don't love them. Chunky designs and a camera with a lot of room for improvement - so much for Hasselblad's help - mean for the first time we're hesitant to recommend the new OnePlus flagships.

Luckily things are better when it comes to the Realme 8. Toddy's reviewed the 8 Pro and come away seriously impressed - though can it quite match the Redmi Note 10 Pro at the exact same price?

And finally, Poco has unveiled its own next pair of budget beasts: the X3 Pro and F3, along with the new(ish) Snapdragon 860 chipset that powers the X3 Pro. The X3 was our favourite budget phone of 2020, so is the firm onto another pair of winners?

  • Samsung Galaxy A52 & A72, Redmi Note 10 Pro review & launches vs leaks | Fast Charge ep. 57

This week we tackle the launch of two new Samsung phones, review the Redmi Note 10 Pro, and why leaks have changed tech launches - for good.

First up, Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy A52 and A72 (and technically two different models of the A52, but now we're getting messy). The A51 was one of last year's best-selling phones, so how do Samsung's mid-rangers fare for 2021?

Meanwhile Chris joins the show to tell us how he's gotten on with the Redmi Note 10 Pro - a $279 marvel that may just be one of the best budget phones on the market right now, though there are a couple reasons he couldn't give it the coveted 5 stars.

And finally, in a month that's seen Samsung, Apple, and OnePlus all deal with launch event leaks, have leakers fundamentally changed the nature of tech launches? And why have each of these three companies responded to them so differently?

  • Oppo Find X3 Pro, Asus ROG Phone 5 & Camera Collaborations | Fast Charge ep. 56

2021's phone launches are heating up, with the Find X3 Pro and ROG Phone 5 both joining the fray this week.

Dom is ready to review the Find X3 Pro, which packs in dual primary cameras, a special microlens, and one biiiiiillion colours. It's also shiny as heck, but that's neither here nor there.

Meanwhile Lewis and our special guest Adam Patrick Murray have both been playing with the Asus ROG Phone 5, and are here to answer all your burning questions about the giant gaming phone, its OLED rear panel, and why the hell you'd need 18GB of RAM in a phone.

Finally, we couldn't get Adam on the show without making him talk cameras. With OnePlus finally confirming its long-rumoured Hasselblad partnership, we ask what these collaborations with camera companies really mean, and whether they're anything more than marketing buzz.

  • Realme GT, Nubia Red Magic 6 & Redmi Note 10 | Fast Charge ep. 55

Three separate phone launches in one day? What a treat, and proof that Phone Season is well and truly upon us.

First up, Realme unveiled the Realme GT flagship in China. With a Snapdragon 888, 120Hz display, and 65W fast charging it's a bit of a speed freak - with the racing stripe to prove it. It is also unbelievably affordable at a price that's equivalent to just £310/$430.

Not to be outdone, Nubia also launched the Red Magic 6 and 6 Pro gaming phones in China - with a global launch to follow - with a world-first 165Hz refresh rate display. Naturally it's also powered by the 888, and the 6 Pro goes up to a ludicrous 120W charging.

At the less extreme end of the spectrum, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 10 series, with four phones for Europe and three for India - and just to keep things confusing, the names and specs don't match between the different markets. Guess it's time for *another* Fast Charge rant about phone names.

  • Huawei Mate X2, Android updates & Mi 11 vs S21 | Fast Charge ep. 54

Huawei's brand-spanking new foldable Mate X2 is here, Samsung wants to fix Android updates, and we pit its S21 series up against the Xiaomi Mi 11.

The Huawei Mate X2 is the company's third foldable phone, and the first to bear a whole new design, with more than a little nod to Samsung's Z Fold. This looks like the best foldable hardware yet - and it'll also be the first phone in the world to run Huawei's upcoming HarmonyOS.

Samsung has its own software plans though, and announced that from now on new Galaxy phones will receive four years of Android security updates - even better than Google's Pixel promise. But why is this still so far behind what Apple offers?

And finally, Samsung remains a thread today, as we pit January's S21 series up against the Xiaomi Mi 11. We've finally reviewed all four flagship phones, and are ready to settle the score for the best phone of 2021 so far - until Oppo, OnePlus, and more show up to spoil things.

  • Moto G10 & G30, Mi 11 Ultra & LastPass | Fast Charge ep. 53

New Motorola phones, a very unexpected Xiaomi leak, and LastPass throwing itself under the bus fill the slate for this week's Fast Charge.

The Moto G10 and G30 are the two latest budget Motorola phones, and mark a much-needed shift in the company's branding strategy - but is the new system any better? And can new Moto phones compete against the affordable onslaught from Realme and Xiaomi?

At the other end of the price spectrum, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra appears to have leaked in a comprehensive hands-on video showing a *wild* phone with a mini screen built into the rear camera module. What is this thing?!

And finally, popular password manager LastPass has shot itself in the foot by changing the terms of its popular free tier to make it nigh on unusable. What are they thinking, and will it push more people to actually pay for their passwords?

  • OnePlus 9, Red Magic 6 & Xiaomi Mi 11 impressions | Fast Charge ep. 52

It's another rumour round-up special, as we sum up everything we know so far about the OnePlus 9 (including *that* camera collab) and the Nubia Red Magic 6, before turning to the global launch of the Xiaomi Mi 11.

The OnePlus 9 series has leaked a lot already, but this week saw the biggest yet, with the apparent confirmation that it will have a camera collaboration with Swedish legends Hasselblad.

Meanwhile the Nubia Red Magic 6 is another gaming phone on the way this spring, but it's just gotten the weirdest phone teaser we've *ever* seen. Seriously, check it out:

And finally, the Mi 11 has gone global. We're gonna round up the news from the launch, including pricing and the charger situation. And if the courier makes it in time for the start of the show, Dom will even give his first hands-on impressions.

  • Fast Charge ep. 51: Huawei Mate X2, Sony Xperia 1 III & Asus ROG Phone 5 leaks

No-one wanted to release any big phones this week, so instead this week we're looking ahead to three of the year's most leaked phones: the Huawei Mate X2, Sony Xperia 1 III & Asus ROG Phone 5.

The Mate X2 is Huawei's next foldable, now confirmed to launch later this month. Almost every spec has now leaked, but most interesting of all is word that it's going to change form factor too.

The Sony Xperia 1 III is less radical, but no less leaked - we've now seen the new flagship from almost every angle. Expect the now-classic 21:9 aspect ratio, along with unusual flagship features like a headphone jack and Sony's first periscope camera.

Finally, the Asus ROG Phone 5 might be the most leaked phone in the world right now - we've even seen the thing in hands-on video highlighting its wildest new feature: a mini full colour display on the rear.
