  • True Hearts that Love and Encourage
Tied to the twin realities that we are not guilty before God and forgiven by Him (previous in Ch. 10), we have confidence to enter into the holy places, and we have a great priest in Jesus. These salvation realities are the basis for a productive, fruitful, meaningful life. So we are together - "let us" - exhorted to draw near in worship with a true heart in full assurance of faith, to hold fast to the confession of our hope, and to stir up one another to love and good works.

  • The Effective Sacrifice
The old covenant sacrifices were only a shadow of the good things to come. They were offered year after year, yet they could never take away sin or cleanse the conscience. They served instead as a constant reminder of guilt. In this passage the writer to the Hebrews turns our eyes to Jesus Christ, who came to do the Father's will and offered His own body once for all. The Levitical priests stood daily at their unfinished work. Christ, having made one sacrifice for sins, sat down at the right hand of God, and by that single offering He has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified. The Holy Spirit confirms this through the promise of the new covenant: "I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more." Where such forgiveness has been secured, no further offering for sin remains. Come and rest in the finished, effective sacrifice of our great High Priest.

  • GeorDavie’s Teachings and Kathryn Krick’s 5F Church Examined
Dawn Hill examines translated clips of GeorDavie's teachings and considers his influence on Kathryn Krick and 5F Church. The teachings discussed raise serious concerns about biblical authority, spiritual mediation, religious pluralism, and the elevation of self-appointed spiritual leaders. Dawn contrasts these claims with Scripture's teaching that Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and man and that every teacher must be tested by God's sufficient Word. She also encourages those questioning or leaving 5F Church to reject the fear of man, turn to Christ, return to Scripture, and seek the care of a faithful local church. The translations discussed were produced with AI assistance and should be carefully compared with the original Swahili-language material. • What Do We Do Now?
The Jewish people have gotten too comfortable living in Persia and God is allowing pressure to remind them that obedience to Him is a better way. The king's power was an illusion and there was a spiritual battle going on with Satan running the show behind the king.

  • Pt 10, Revelation 3:7-13, The Church at Philadelphia
In Part 10 of the Revelation Unraveled series, Pastor Byron Chesney examines Christ's message to the church at Philadelphia in Revelation 3:7–13. Although this church had little strength and faced opposition, it remained faithful to God's Word and refused to deny the name of Jesus Christ. This message emphasizes that the Lord does not measure a church by its size, wealth, or influence, but by its faithfulness and obedience. Pastor Chesney explores Christ's promise of an open door that no man can shut, His assurance of protection during the coming hour of worldwide testing, and the eternal rewards awaiting those who overcome. The message encourages believers to hold fast to the truth, remain faithful with the strength God has given them, and confidently walk through the doors Christ opens before them.

  • What is Mount Zion?
This sermon explores the imagery of the Lamb standing on Mount Zion with the 144,000, emphasizing the security and perseverance of believers who are redeemed and blameless. The teaching connects this vision to the steadfastness of faith, illustrating that true believers remain unshaken by trials, much like Mount Zion which cannot be removed. It further examines the biblical significance of Mount Zion as a symbol of divine protection and the judgment of the proud and the angelic realm. The message encourages the congregation to hold fast to their faith, trusting that nothing can separate them from the love of God, while also addressing the nature of spiritual warfare and the ultimate destiny of evil forces.
