Christ has set you free from trying to earn God's acceptance through your own obedience. Your justification rests completely on His finished work, and adding your own works as a requirement for salvation undermines the grace of the gospel. Yet this freedom is not permission to live however you please—it frees you to obey God willingly out of love and gratitude. Stand firmly in that grace, keeping your confidence in Christ alone even when the message of the cross is unpopular or offensive.
