Darklivity is hosted by True Crime YouTuber⁠ @Kimbyrleigha ⁠ and her husband Jon. Kimbyr is a law school graduate with degrees in sociology and psychology. Jon is a production studio owner specializing in film, music, and content creation. Together, they share a passion for bringing victims' stories to life and honoring their memories.

This podcast is intended to be a place where viewers can feel like they are sitting with their friends who share a common interest in victim-focused true crime stories & join in the conversation in the comments. The set where Darklivity is filmed is a recreation of Kimbyr's bedroom from the 90s when her grandmother Fran introduced her to true crime for the first time while watching the OJ Simpson trial. Sadly, Fran passed away in February 2023; the set is a tribute to her and a "thank you" for the curiosity she instilled in Kimbyr as a child. Thanks for being here. We hope you stay.
