Beverly Hills isn’t the type of place where you expect someone to disappear without a trace. In fact, there are only two people on the city’s missing persons list. One of those people is Adam Hecht, the 23-year-old son of a successful Hollywood producer who grew up surrounded by movie stars, mansions, and privilege.
But by 1989, Adam had become disillusioned with that lifestyle. He was spending time with Los Angeles’ homeless population, exploring mysticism, and had invited a homeless man to live in his apartment.
Then, on June 7, Adam disappeared without a trace.
37 years later, investigators still don’t know what happened to him, and his disappearance remains one of Beverly Hills’ biggest mysteries.
If you have information in this case, contact the Beverly Hills Police Department’s Detective Bureau at (310) 285-2158.

On June 6, 1993, an armed man robbed the Be-Lo Supermarket in Windsor, North Carolina, before forcing six employees to the back of the store.
There, the employees were directed to bind each other before the gunman attacked them with a gun and a butcher knife. Three of the victims died, while three survived.
Despite the survivors helping investigators create a composite sketch, more than 33 years later, no one has ever been arrested. The triple homicide remains unsolved, and investigators are still searching for the person, or people, responsible.
If you have information about this case, please call the Windsor Police Department (252) 794-3111. A $30,000 reward is available.

By the time they left, the thieves had stolen 13 works of art worth $500 million. They disappeared without a trace, and more than 36 years later, none of the stolen artwork has been recovered, leaving investigators searching for answers in what remains the largest property crime in United States history.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum’s security director at 617-278-5114 or [email protected]. Confidentiality is assured and a $10 million reward is available.

On July 18, 2007, 55-year-old Barbara Bolick set out on a hike to her favorite overlook in Montana's Bitterroot National Forest with a family friend. It was a trail she knew by heart and had hiked countless times before.
But during the hike, Barbara disappeared without a trace. According to the only witness, she was just 20 to 30 feet behind him when he turned away for less than a minute. When he looked back, she was gone.
Despite extensive searches, investigators found no sign of Barbara, no evidence of what happened, and no clear answers. More than 19 years later, her disappearance remains one of Montana's most baffling unsolved mysteries.
