Description of D100 Exhibition from website (https://www.fi.edu/disney100-the-exhibition):
To commemorate the centennial anniversary of The Walt Disney Company, the Franklin Institute is hosting a world premiere exhibition that invites visitors to delve into the enchanting stories that have captivated audiences since 1923.
Drawing from the vast collection of The Walt Disney Archives, this exhibition presents over 250 of the company's most precious treasures, referred to as the "Crown Jewels." Among these treasures are original artworks and artifacts, as well as rare costumes, props, and other memorabilia, which will be on display for the very first time.
In addition, Disney has put together an exclusive exhibition featuring behind-the-scenes glimpses into the creation of its most beloved characters, films, shows, and attractions, spanning from Disneyland to Walt Disney World and beyond.
Comprising ten galleries that are thematically and imaginatively designed, this exhibition brings to life 100 years of The Walt Disney Company, taking visitors on a captivating journey that pays homage to classics such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Strange World, as well as the latest additions to the Disney family, including Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, and National Geographic. Each gallery boasts unique interactive installations and provides fascinating background information to further enrich visitors' experience.
