"School mass" homily. Wednesday or school Mass days, so I addressed this homily to the children of the school as I usually would. 

With the ban on public Masses in the diocese the Bishop has asked us to post daily homilies if we can. So here is the first that I delivered to the cloistered convent of Poor Clare Nuns in Barhamsville. 

This week we talk about feminism , gender roles, a little herpetology, and marriage. What else are you supposed to talk about during the first weekend of Lent? 

Do you ever replay conversations in your head over and over again wishing you had said something better? does it leave you angry that you didn't have a better come back? Did you know they were still killing people by Guillotine up until the 1980's in France?
