  • Mosth High - Policy #91
This past Sunday Pastor Greg Timms unpacked Psalm 91. Everything changes because of who He is and who we are in Him. Truth trumps both our experiences and belief systems. Truth is Jesus! We need to live under the shelter of Most High and the shadow of the Almighty. When we step into His shadow we find our true identities as sons and daughters. There is a place where we can rest in the shadow of Almighty. It’s our choice, it’s available to everyone. Where do you want to dwell?

  • Lessons in Hearing
This past Sunday Pastor John Scholtz in his message lessons in hearing God's voice shared that in John 10:27 we read "His sheep know His voice..." and we know that God can speak to us in many different ways. We are encouraged to ask for wisdom, we are encouraged to ask for direction and we are encouraged to ask God for whatever we need to understand. We just have to be in that place to have an ear to hear.

  • Living as a Citizen of Heaven
This past Sunday Eric Montgomery shared that we are citizens of heaven if we believe in the name of Jesus Christ. Because of our citizenship, forces of evil can’t touch what God has created and whom He has called. In much of today’s culture, identity has become fluid but God wants us to know that we have an unshakable identity. It’s not time to live like heaven is punishing us, but rather that heaven is out to permit us to enter in. God points to the stamp in our heavenly passports and that stamp says righteous, it says holy, it says chosen and it says, Citizen

  • How Bad Do You Want It?
Pastor Greg Timms shared this past Sunday that more and more people have this overwhelming desire to get back to the original intent of why God made us. We need to take the most drastic steps possible to not lose intimacy with the Father. If there is anything that is going to steal our joy, our intimacy we are to cut it off. The question is how badly do you and I want to live in intimacy with Jesus every day.

  • You are a Chosen People
This past Sunday Pastor Fred Steyn shared how Jesus picked the disciples even though they weren’t perfect or the best of the best. His love healed them, made them whole, changed their view of themselves and transformed them from rags to riches. God doesn’t require us to be qualified before He calls us, He simply wants us to answer His call, He will equip and qualify us. God the creator, sees you, knows you and says to you today “I have chosen you!”

  • No Money? No Worries!
Within the church today the talk of money has become a sensitive topic. Jesus spoke a lot about money and so we looked at what God says about money in His word. The Bible says that we have not, because we ask not and we know that God is our provider. Even with money, there is an invitation to step into a relationship with God. The world chases after money, but we are to run after the Kingdom, which is righteousness, peace & joy.

  • My Dad Used To Say
We often catch ourselves saying things that our parents used to say and today we make choices based on who we think we are because of words spoken over us. Words carry weight. We see this throughout the Bible, words are powerful. The Kingdom culture that God wants us to live in is to speak truth and life over each other. It’s never too late to receive healing from words that have brought damage to us and to receive the words from God that build, edifies and encourages us!

  • Freedom & Health
This past Sunday Pastor Greg Timms shared around this new year and having our compass set on Christ. That we live in peace, joy and righteousness. That we live victoriously and that this will be a year of freedom & health! In John 16:33, Jesus encourages us to take heart despite difficulties because He has overcome the world and that even in the middle of making mistakes we can still know His goodness and kindness. Jesus came to set us free so that we can live free. His words and teachings are health to our whole bodies!

  • The Upside Down Gift
Pastor Greg Timms shared this past Sunday at our Christmas Service that God’s nature is all about giving. God is a generous God. We can often feel like God’s gift doesn’t feel like the gift we were expecting. Instead of it being an awesome gift it ends up feeling like an upside-down gift... Jesus said in this world we will face trouble, but be of good cheer because I have overcome the world. Our anchor is this, we go back to Jesus and everything will be ok. Jesus is the best gift and Jesus is the best gift-giver we can ask for. Everything comes back to Jesus.

  • Unpacking Jesus
What made Jesus different? Many people became thirsty for what Jesus had, and what made Him different. Often in scripture, we read that large crowds followed Him. People need to experience the same around us, they should be experiencing the goodness, kindness, and love of Christ through us. This past Sunday Pastor Greg Timms looked at Matthew 6: 1-15 and how Jesus taught us to pray! Going to our Father in prayer. He is above everything, He sees everything and He misses nothing.
