FKOF Premiere!

The triple threat @00-79, Emz & Wishmaster bring their hefty single 'NRG' to the @durkledisco imprint from Bristol. They push their next "certified 140 banger" named 'NRG', all thanks to a deadly link-up resulting in a real summer riddim. Fun fact: It's the very first time 0079, Emz & Wish Master have appeared on a record together - and "they all bring strong individual credentials to the table."

'DURK041' is set for release on 30/06/2023 thru a 10" lathe cut (super limited edition) and digital outlets. Make sure to pre-order both formats and support this wicked label and artists...

Stoked to premiere new French imprint @baitlabel and their debut release from @hyaser. In their own words, Bait is "a French label focused technoïd-dubstep fitting the likes of artists like Killawatt & Ipman, Kryptic Minds or even Pinch. It's groovy, it's trancy, it's the melting pot of exciting genres resulting in a deep and dark soundscape fit for the club."

This is the first tune from BAIT01EP, with the second from @artroniks coming shortly after. You can pre-order via the buy-link, or wait for the EP to drop 30/06/23.

ICYMI, label boss @beatrice-triste guested on this month's FKOF Sessions show with an hour long techno/ dubstep/ everything in-between mix. Check it for a taste of what Bait has to come!

"Up first, we've got French-bass talent @hyaser, capable of mastering any kind of UK-influenced genre, whether it's garage, dubstep, jungle or breaks. Alongside his beautifully groovy track, we've got legend ARtroniks back with his unique sound: unclassifiable cross-breed dubstep. His track 'Tension' certainly lives up to its name. It's an honour to have him on the label, as his production were a huge influence in the artistic direction."

FKOF Premiere!

The Slovak and European Dubstep scene is fully represented, thanks to the wonderful A&R'ing skills by label owner and FKOF gangster @wzshakhta. Let's not forget the amazing list of producers who contributed banger after banger for this second collection of cuts on @shakhtarec.

This exquisite long player gives you a serious taster of what CZ (and European) Dubstep repertoire sounds like. Take 'Savanna' by FKOF familia @kusmo for example: Spacious percs meet 'just the right' bassweight, for extra impact on any given soundsystem. A wild and heavy-weight production, just the way we like it...

The 'SHKHTVA002' LP is set for release on 12/06/2023 thru the Shakhta Records Bandcamp page. Make sure to hit the buy-link attached to support label and European artists from various countries...

The @infernal_sounds crew sets the pace once again, this time releasing their final instalment of a 3 part series, which includes snippets from digital releases and give them a well-deserved shine on wax. It includes tough remixes by @metafloor, @drumterror, @grawinkel & @ego_death_sound... Heavy-duty system rumblers and beautiful artwork duties by Ben Jac!

We happily feature 'Memento': A Dub-infused wobbler by Calgary's one-and-only Metafloor. Delays, spring reverb and an infectious wobble strike the faint of heart, while staying true to an enormous wall of low-end sub. Just the way we like it over at the FKOF camp...

Back at it again with FKOF fam linkups - this time it's @arkhamsound

and @dngnbeats joining forces with @rakjayuk for a remix EP of utmost madness.

Here's the Arkham remix of Rakjay's 'Bunking'; which features alongside a Rakjay remix of Arkham's 'Nexus' (and both original mixes). This collab effort drops 1st June '23 and you can bag via pre-order link...

Big up Hitman and the DNG gang!

"To kick things off, 'Bunking' by Rakjay gets straight to the point by landing some proper earth-shattering basslines accompanied by murky percussions to top it off precisely with some fine grime/hip hop-like sample work.

"Then comes the Arkham Sound, laying down a wicked remix of 'Bunking' by taking things in a different direction - it’s a moody, acidy lurker with Arkham’s signature style sprinkled all around the grid. Pure alien spaceship vibes."

You know how we love to feature Dub-infused steppers once in a while... We now have your ears blessed by Czech Republic's resident @echoboydub, who starts off @semfree's (Soul Ex Machina) vinyl run with a beauty of a record. Listen...

Dub effects have been intelligently applied by EchoBoy onto minimal percs, which all meet with some nasty wobble action in the mid-range of the green, yellow and red tinted audio mix. The producer infuses Dub-esque elements into a classic Dubstep production named 'Chords Trip'... Well done, EchoBoy!
